All test procedures will be submitted to the authority via Sharepoint for acceptance. Following completion of tests the result sheets will be assembled on a subsystem basis and submitted to the authority for acceptance. Note that the precise process for test acceptance may be refined at a later stage subject to agreement with the authority. 3.2 Structure
The result sheets for each test procedure will be contained in chapter 5 - test summary. The result sheets will correspond to all tests in the procedure and contain acceptable test limits. The result sheets will also require signatures from engineer/technician who carried out the test, as well as an approval signature from the representative from Alcatel-Lucent. There will also be a signature point for MMOPL authoritys witness if they are present.

Test Summary
The following is a brief summary of the tests cases to be carried out under this FAT. The test sequences are defined based on the functional requirements. The test scenarios presented in this FAT provide a demonstration of all primary functional requirements. Due to the nearly infinite number of possible system states, it is not practical to test every possible scenario. It is summarized as following table about cross-reference between TS and FAT procedure:

BTN Capacity and Loading Prior to the design of the BTN, the Contractor shall assess the data rates, bandwidth requirements and level of usage of each individual system that the BTN is required to support and shall estimate total loading and submit such details for approval by the Employer. Prior to the final design and manufacture of the BTN, the Contractor shall compile and submit a loading report to the Employer that includes details of the required BTN capabilities, the network throughput, the worst case transmission delay times and system and circuit availability figures including MTTR and MTBF figures. The provision of the BTN bandwidth capacity for each station / depot shall be sufficient for the actual demand with an additional 100% spare capacity in terms of equipment provision, channel card utilization and bandwidth reserved for future use. Nevertheless, the bandwidth capacity provided for each station / depot shall be, as a minimum, 150 Mbps and the overall bearer bandwidth capacity of each BTN ring shall be, as a minimum, 620 Mbps. Not withstanding the RAMS target mentioned in the contract, the Contractor shall compile a traffic report of the BTN for the approval of the Employer after the 3 months trial run period to demonstrate that to all possible extent the system is able to achieve the grade of service requirements. Subsequently, a further report after 6 months of Revenue Service shall also be provided which will also detail the ability of the BTN system to satisfy the grade of service requirements. If the BTN system fails to meet the grade of service requirements, the Contractor shall re-configure the system and wherever necessary provide additional hardware, to ensure that the specified minimum equipped reserve capacity and additional spare capacity are maintained at no extra cost to the Employer, and that the specified grade of service is achieved. The BTN transmission system shall consist of a duplicated multi-channel transmission system employing digital multiplexing techniques and utilising optical fibres as the interconnecting media. The BTN transmission system shall be configured with duplicated ring topology to ensure that in the event of equipment or transmission media failure no circuits carried by the BTN transmission system are affected. At stations or equipment rooms supporting radio communications, a BTN transmission system equipment failure shall not result in any loss of the radio channels from that part of the radio system served by the station or equipment room. The optical fibre cable has to be laid in suitable conduit along the viaduct on the cable trays/ hangers provided on both sides of the viaduct. The operating system software and configuration data shall be stored in nonvolatile memory. In the event of a power supply failure, the operating system shall automatically revert to the last stored or activated user programmed configuration without any manual intervention, until the power has been restored. The BTN transmission system shall be designed and implemented in a modular form to enable it to be further upgraded to a higher capacity system, to be capable of accommodating new technologies and to be connected to other transmission systems in future specifically at D.N. Nagar transmission node. The BTN transmission system shall incorporate on-line, automatic, selfdiagnostic maintenance facilities that shall enable fault, configuration and performance management. All equipment shall be monitored to ensure that a
