Acoustic door Technical Specifications

Acoustic doors designed and manufactured to provide construction solutions which guarantee acoustic performance. Description: - Leaf made up of an acoustic sandwich panel core, hardwood or marine plywood structure with rubber stripping in the recesses and on the bottom, surfaced on both sides with 2.5mm thick high-pressure laminate in colours in the CUBLIC series (in stock), or veneer over MD. - The core of the door is made up of a sandwich panel of different materials in order to achieve good sound refraction and therefore good acoustic performance. As HPL has a high density (1410 kg/m3), it provides good insulation against airborne noise MD absorbs impact noise and sound well. Acoustic membrane is a high-density visco-elastic layer designed to improve acoustic insulation, attenuate vibration and dampen the negative effect of critical frequency. Due to its multidirectional, elastic structure, rock wool obstructs the movement of air particles and dissipates sound energy, and is used as an acoustic conditioner to avoid excessive echo and reverberation. It is also used to absorb noise in "mass-spring-mass" systems. Conglomerate or particle board functions as a structural component due to its stability and uniformity. - The frame is made up of hard woods or marine plywood, machined to house rubber seals which hug the recesses; an acoustic strip has been fitted to the bottom of the door to stop sound being transmitted. The sub-frame can be made up of a single wooden sub-frame, or two separate subframes separated by a neoprene seal in the case of cavity partitions with acoustic dampers between them..
