I.
PROCEDURE
1. Prepare all the material youre going to used 2. Prepare cement, sand, gravel and pail of water 3. Measure the required ratio for the mixture of class AA. CEMENT 2 kg SAND 3 kg GRAVEL 6 kg
4. Put all measured sample in the basin 5. Mix the specimen 6. Form a volcanic shape in the specimen 7. Create a hole in the middle of the specimen 8. Slowly pour water in the specimen 9. Mix well the specimen with water 10. Put the specimen in the slump test moulder until it is full 11. Remove the slump shoulder. See to it that forces are equal upon removing the moulder 12. Get the height of the slump
II.
DATA
TRIAL 1ST HEIGHT OF THE SLUMP 18.5 cm
2ND
18.5 cm
Weight of empty cone = ___________________________ kg Weight of cone w/ concrete = ______________________ kg Formula: wt. of the cone w/ concrete = wt. of cyl. moulder w/ concrete wt. of cyl. moulder + wt. of empty cone Weight of the cylindrical moulder (empty) = _____________________kg Weight of the cylindrical moulder w/ concrete = ________________ kg

COMPUTATIONS
To determine density of concrete: 1. Volume of the cone, = 0.14m3 2. Weight of the empty container 3. Weight of the container filled with mixture
V.
OBSERVATION
We observed that as the concrete mixture is filled with many water, eventually its consistency will be poor and will not be suitable as a binder. Also when this kind of watery mixture is put inside the slump cone, the concrete mixture will collapse and will fail in the slump cone test. On the other hand, when the concrete mixture is poured with the right amount of water, it will lead to good consistency. Moreover, when it is put into the slump cone moulder, the concrete mixture will hold its state and therefore will lead to good results in the slump cone test.
VI.
CONCLUSION
We therefore conclude that the water content of the concrete mixture/specimen greatly affects the viscosity or the consistency of it. Obviously, more water that will be added into the specimen will create a less viscous mixture while on the other hand, lesser water will be leading to a more viscous mixture. Usually, mixtures with greater water content will eventually collapse when put into the slump cone mixture.

RECOMMENDATION
We recommend the following during the conduct of the slump cone test: Weigh all aggregates/ materials correctly and accurately Pour a right amount of water for the specific amount of the specimen Filled the slump cone totally and also the cylinder for a more accurate results and data
