nursery extension room equipped just for Announcements
you through the double-doors on the piano-
side back of the Sanctuary. Additionally, Hymn Let There Be Praise
preschool childcare is available in the
Manna Kids suite with secure check-in.

Box in either parlor as you exit the Sanctuary.

 July is the month to show Jesus’ love to our community by serving them!

Sun Jul 9 - FREE yard care for our neighbors who, for whatever reasons, are just not
able to get their yards cleaned up. If you’d like to help, show up ready for work after the
worship services. Manna will have a red shirt ready for you!

Sat, Jul 15 - FREE Yard Sale! Not raising money, just blessing our neighbors with free
stuff. Donate good new or used items that people will want and use, not just junk to get rid of
and nothing broken or stained. Bring them the day before or day of the event. There will be
food, fun for the kids, a drive-thru car wash and a prayer tent. The goal is for you to plan to
stay with your stuff and use it as a conversation starter with people who are interested
in it. If you’d like to help, contact the Church Office or just show up on Saturday.

The Welcome Center received a fresh update this week! This area
has turned into a favorite gathering spot, and additional tables and
seating have been set up in Fuller Hall.
THE BIG RED FRIDGE
Manna/Tabernacle is the first recipient on the Peninsula of a free
fridge from 757 Community Fridges! The kitchen porch is the
perfect place for this fridge, which is only primed right now but will
be painted shiny red. The fridge will be stocked with free food,
available for anyone to take.
This idea started during the pandemic when a couple of friends
began feeling passionate about food insecurity in their area. With
some help from Richmond Community Fridges, they have been
able to get started locally. Their motto is “Take What You Want,
Leave What You Can.”
The fridge will not be policed but
will be monitored to make sure
the food is always fresh and
clean and not expired. It can be
stocked by individual donations,
Foodbank donations, or even
contributions from other
churches. It isn’t just for the
homeless or destitute, but for
individuals and families who
also just need some help
keeping meals on their tables.
Manna will officially launch it to
the neighborhood later this
month.
