clapperboard used for? Packed with detailed illustrations, this
fascinating book answers all your questions about cinema, television
and video.

to Presto, the kids page/club from the Dominion post.

www.news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/ BBC’s children’s site, sensitive use of up


to date news.

children which get up dated regularly. Also lists other
websites you might find handy.

Games, Hobbies, and Homework help. A “kids news

Information.

www.weatherwizkids.com Website designed by an American


meteorologist especially for children to allow them to learn more about
the fascinating world of weather.

www.wxdude.com The “Weather Dude”… a weather information site


packed with child friendly information. You can even
“sing along with the weather dude!”

www.predictweather.co.nz Weather forecasting. Also holds articles about


climate change etc. Some articles are aimed at children
specifically.
