IMMEDIATE REFLECTION
Complete within 24 hours after teaching the lesson 1. Please provide a description of the students you taught (e.g., grade level, number of students, special characteristics, etc.). These students are great communicators. There are some who are more out spoken than others, but as a whole they are all very comfortable speaking English in class. 2. How many of your students fully achieved the lesson objective (please provide the number of students)? They all did. How do you know? They all participated in the practice and provided meaningful and valuable input. 3. If not, what are you going to do during the next class period with these students to ensure that they achieve, or work toward achieving, the objective?

4. What did you do to ensure that all students were able to participate during the lesson? I set the debate parameters and told them what was expected. How did you target lowerlevel students? N/A Shy students? Made them have a speaking part, each person member had to speak. Advanced students? Took away some of the speaking time from them and gave it to the shy students. 5. Which one part of the lesson was most successful? The play was a huge success, the students and their parents were so happy with the results. Why? They all worked hard and they did a great job. How do you know? Because they produced the results at the time of the the show.

6. Which one part of the lesson needed the most improvement? I would have liked to have more time for them to prepare. How do you know? I just feel that it would have been more meaningful and more in-depth How would you improve it if you could teach the lesson again? I would use it as the final exam.

7. Did you need to modify your lesson plan during class? NO If so, why? How did you modify the plan?

8. What patterns in your preparation/teaching can be improved? Take more time to work on diction with the students and give them more "tricks" for memorization.

9. What was your favorite part of the lesson? The dress rehersal and the actual performance of the play. What was your students favorite part of the lesson? The performance of the play. 10. After teaching this lesson, do you have any questions you would like addressed regarding teaching methodologies, strategies, or activities? No In the video I needed to have them more involved in the vocabulary and pronunciation process. Allow them to formulate the words and their definitions.
