Chinas Population is 1 343 239 923 people which is the largest in the world. 47% of the total population of China lives in the cities. The Largest City in China is Shanghai The Life expectancy of Chinese is 74.84 years. The percentage of Chinese that can read and write is 92.2% China has a Communist state Government. The Capital of China is Beijing. The currency used in China is Renminbi, Yuan. In China, most people work in the Industry sector. 13.4% of the Chinese population live in poverty. An endangered species that lives in China is the Giant Panda.

One Third of Chinas land mass is made up of mountains. The two most important rivers in China are the Yangtze River and the Yellow River. There are four varying landscapes in China- Mountains, High Plateaus, Sandy Deserts and Dense Forests. The Pacic Ocean borders China to the East. The South China Sea is on the SouthEast of China. The river that ows by Shanghai is the Yangtze River. Beijing is in the North-East of China. Russian Federation and North Korea both border China on the East. All in all 14 countries border China. The Yellow River crosses the Great wall. Logging and Clear-cutting are two things that threaten the plant and wildlife in China.
