Jehovah put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, a beautiful place with many animals and plants

in peaceful conditions, and to top it off, they had no health issues, ever! As we know, they lost that wonderful life through disobedience, for themselves, and also for all of us. Its a sad situation, but does it have to stay that way? Look up Psalms 37:29 with me: (READ) How can this be? The Bible talks about there being a new heavens and a new earth, at the moment, we are living under governments ruled by humans who are incapable of handling this authority, as the scriptures say: man truly has dominated man to his injury. But, Jesus has taken this role, and with those who are ruling with him in heaven, will make up the new heavens. To govern over the whole earth! What about the new earth? Contrary to popular belief, the earth wont be destroyed by nuclear warfare, collision with an object from outer space, global warming or by any other means, Jehovah simply will not let that happen. You see, when the Bible speaks about the earth, it may not always be talking about the planet. For an example of this, consider with me Genesis 11:1 (READ), here it must be talking about the people who reside on the earth. It seems silly to reason that the planet itself was able to speak a literal language. With this in mind, when it says a new earth, it must be talking about the people who are on the earth, so what makes it the new earth? For it to be a peaceful new world, there cannot be any wicked people on the earth, this was emphasised in the first scripture we read in Psalms which said that the righteous themselves will possess the earth. We know all too well that it isnt beyond Jehovah to separate the righteous and the unrighteous, and to destroy the latter. We just have to go back to the first book of the Bible to read about the Flood of Noahs day, which wiped out the wicked men on a global scale and preserved righteous Noah and his family. What can we do if we want to be a part of this wonderful new world? Jesus tells us in John 17:3, lets look at that together (READ) so to reiterate, we need to take in knowledge about Jehovah, our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ his Son who gave his life for us. The best way of doing so is by reading and meditating on Gods Word the Bible. This is vital for us, and is emphasized in Matthew 4:4 where it says Man must live, not on bread alone, but on all the words that come from Jehovahs mouth. We have that spiritual need to take in this knowledge and put into practise what we learn, which is just as important for our life as physical food, because it actually means everlasting life! So as we stay busy in Jehovahs arrangement we can be happy that soon His new peaceful world will be fully in action, no more sickness, death, wicked people, there will be plenty of food for everyone, people from all nations will be at peace, and the earth will be restored to its true beauty.
