Twitter has been a staple in keeping me sane the past three years of my life. I use it as an outlet to express myself. For this class, I recently created a new account, username Nicole_Pink16. I made a new account so I could keep my personal account private and make this one public. My username is made up of my first name, first four letters of my last name, and my lucky number 16. This account was created on September 17, 2012. According to Tweet Grader, an online tool that allows you to check the power of your twitter profile compared to millions of other users that have been graded, I rank 7,129,671th out of 12,879,407. This rank gives me a grade of 44 out of 100. Tweet Grader also allows you to see keywords and frequently used hash-tags. A few keywords and hash-tags that stuck out on my twitter were "digital Endicott, class, finance, today, homework". The number of times I have used the hash-tag digital Endicott has been fourteen times. The next most popular hash-tags were One Night Tour and Timeflies Tuesday. These hash-tags and keywords are the most used on my twitter because I do use them so often and do not have a lot of tweets. As of October 9, 2012, I have tweeted 46 times. I have been retweeted four times and have retweeted other people five times. My tweets have been favorited twelve times. I have been replied to six times and mentioned 24 times. I have 40 followers and am following 97 people. On Tweet Stats, it averaged my tweets to 3.3 a day and 25 tweets per month. It also stated that my most frequently used hash-tag is digital Endicott. I thought it would be interesting to compare my public account Nicole_Pink16 to my private account, nicpink816 to see the differences. I chose nicpink816 as a handle because it is a combination of my first and last name, and birthday. My private, personal account was created

on December 24, 2011. I have 139 followers and am following 992 people. As of October 9, 2012, I had 2,753 tweets. On Tweet Grader, I have a rank of 3,886,054th of 12,879,407 and grade of 70 out of 100. I understand why my Nicole_Pink16 twitter is lower ranked and graded. I can also understand why things relating to school are my frequently used hash-tags and keywords. I hope to step up the amount of tweets per day and per month. I also want to gain more followers on this account. I think if I start to follow more people I will increase my amount of followers. It will be interesting to see how I will maintain this account once the digital marketing course is over.
