SAEINDIA announced SUPRA SAEINDIA, an event that will task Indian engineering students to design and build an off- road race track vehicle The SAEINDIA competition which is to be held for the first time in India, endeavourers to inculcate and harness talent to augment design and engineering skills of the India students. The goal of this competition is to provide these students a world class platform to showcase their talent and potential not only in terms of design and engineering skills, but also assess their capability for team-work, entrepreneurship, leadership and management skills. Under the direction of Mr.R.Dayal, SAEINDIA President, we are starting SUPRA SAEINDIA series from 2011 in Chennai In continuation with vision INDIA 2020, we have a dream to brand India as an international automotive hub, not only in the filed manufacturing but also in R&D and innovation. The India automotive industry one of the fastest growing in the world. This sector is looking at a 16% annual growth to quadruple its total revenues in the next 10 years.
