Unpublished biographies of Mahaprabhu The following books about Lord Caitanya and his pure eternal associates should be published with the original Bengali verses (sweetness personified) and distributed widely around the world in different languages. Any one of these books is capable of converting a maha-pasandi into a maha-vaisnava. Rocks melt in ecstasy upon hearing the wonderful glorifications in these books, what to speak of stone-like hearts. If there was someone to back me with financial support for printing these books, I would leave everything and work like mad to publish in the major Indian languages these books especially the Bengali ones which are more accessible to the common man. How will the Golden Age come when people of this world don't even know Who is Caitanya Mahaprabhu? And the most rare ones among the common people who know, they at best think that he was a saint or a prophet or someone among us. That is why the whole world has become terrible unfortunate and fast on a suicidal course. And who is to blame for that? It is we the devotees of Lord Caitanya, who are not effectively spreading Gaura katha all over the world. Yes we have to take the blame. (35)Krsna-prema-tarangini (full Bhagavatam in Bengali) by Bhagavatacarya (36)Gitamrta by Purnacandra das From the introduction of Sri Caitanya-carita Mahakavya by Srila Murari Gupta, translated by Bhaktivedanta Bhagavata Swami: In order to create another flood of gaura-katha to inundate the dull minds of Kali-yuga's materialists and water the seeds of bhakti lying dormant in their hearts, all of Lord Caitanya's biographies must be translated and profusely distributed in all mediums. Although some of these various texts describe the same Personality of Gaurahari, and may appear to narrate the same incidents of the Lord's life, still due to the undiminishing and ever-increasing blissful nature of transcendental subject matters, nava-navayamana, there is no point of satiation for the attentive reader of gaura-katha. Even if one hears repeatedly the same histories of the golden avatara, one's enthusiasm will not wane. Rather, an ardent longing to exclusively hear, chant and remember gaura-katha will develop, while simultaneously an aversion to the transitory topics of the bahir-mukha (materialists) will arise, and thereby one will surely achieve the perfectional stage of human life - love of Krsna. As the Gaudiya Vaisnavas sing: bhaja gaurahga, kaha gaurahga, laha gaurahgera nama re ye jana gaurahga bhaje, se haya amara praoa re Worship Gauranga! Speak about Gauranga! Take Gauranga's names! Whoever worships Gauranga, he is the breath of my life.
