RESOLUTION NO. 1 SERIES OF 2010 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING RULES OF PROCEEDINGS GOVERNING THE ASSEMBLY OF MEMBERS WHEREAS, due to the changes in the Constitution and By-Laws of the Prime Movers Society, the Assembly of Members, convened through a General Assembly of all the Members, had become the Official Legislative body of the Prime Movers Society. WHEREAS, the Prime Movers Society Executive Committee agreed to formulate proper guidelines and processes truly reflective of the ideals, aspirations, values, and principles of the Prime Movers Society. WHEREAS, it is now necessary to organize the proceedings of the Assembly of Members as well as providing the needed details of its organization and operation. NOW, THREFORE, ON A MOTION DULY SECONDED BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY DONE by the Prime Movers Society Executive Committee to approve the following Rules of Proceedings Governing the Assembly of Members. RESOLVED FURTHER, that this resolution shall be deliberated and explained well to the concerned branches of the Prime Movers Society. RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution shall be furnished to the PMS Executive Committee, to the student body of the Prime Movers Society, the PMS Faculty Adviser for their information and guidance.

RULES OF PROCEEDINGS GOVERNING THE ASSEMBLY OF MEMBERS SECTION 1 TITLE This shall be known and cited as the Rules of Proceedings Governing the Assembly of Members. SECTION 2 COMPOSITION The Assembly of Members shall be composed of the Prime Movers Society Executive Committee and all the members of the Prime Movers Society. SECTION 3 ORGANIZATION a. The opening session of the Assembly of Members shall be determined by the Prime Movers Society Executive Committee; b. The Assembly of Members shall be divided into several divisions through the Standing Committees which legislative deliberations are upon its specific functions; c. The Assembly of Members having been divided into several divisions through the Standing Committees shall be represented by the heads of such Committees; d. The Assembly of Members as a whole shall meet: (1) upon the discretion of the Prime Movers Society Executive Committee; (2) for general evaluation purposes; (3) for legislative proceedings where it is deemed necessary to have a joint session; (4) and upon urgent situations; (5) to update the processes and progress undertaken by each division and the presence of its members that shall constitute a quorum; e. Each division may at its own discretion conduct their own sessions and public hearings to ensure that the whole organization will have adequate participation; f. Each division shall meet at their own discretion and shall work on their respective assignments to be determined by the Prime Movers Society Executive Committee; g. Each division shall also consult and shall consider the recommendations of other nonstudent sectors such as: 1. The Faculty Adviser of the Prime Movers Society 2. The Dean of the School of Humanities 3. The Dean of Student Affairs 4. The University Administration as it may deem necessary h. Meetings of each division shall be open to all members of the Prime Movers Society. SECTION 4 COMPLETION Upon completion of the consolidated legislations, the Assembly of Members as a whole shall submit its report to the Prime Movers Society President immediately. SECTION 5 EFFECTIVITY The Rules of Proceedings Governing the Assembly of Members shall take effect upon the jointagreement of the Prime Movers Society Executive Committee and upon the approval of the Prime Movers Society President.
