Bruce Almighty
1. a) Bruce Nolan had a hard time and was unsuccessful at getting a job as an anchorman even though he was working so hard as a television field reporter. Just when he thought he was going to get the promotion he had always wanted, Evan Baxter was the one chosen for the anchor spot. Of course, Bruce was pissed and lost his temper.

b) He was in love with his girlfriend, Grace, but he also had his eyes set on his co-worker, Susan who doesnt even care and notice him at all.

c) When god gave him all of his powers, Bruce used it to get revenge from everything bad that has happened to him. Even though he was not able to tell anyone that he was god, he still managed to get what he wanted his personal gain. 2. In my own opinion, what causes Bruce to always commit errors was his wanting everything to be of gain to him, that helping others isnt in his vocabulary. He was in it to please him, to satisfy his every need and to be ungrateful for everything that he has or was given to him. 3. The effects of Bruce being in charge of the world was, Grace, the love of his life, left him because he got what he wanted from Susan. And since Bruce was abusing his powers, the world was in utter riot. Everyone did not have direction as to how to live day to day. In short, the world was miserable when Bruce was in charge and was god. 4. What caused him to be able to resolve these conflicts were when he protested before God.

Bruce realized that to solve all the problems he literally created for himself was to just start to care for the needy. Help those in need, for example, the homeless man. He himself realized that what he was doing was wrong and had consequences, and that when he decides to stop and take a turn, itll be too late and that the world was already in ruins.

The lessons that can be gained from what happened in the town are being helpful. It may

sound easy and redundant but for me, being able to help others is like being able to help yourself. Its not really the help you give its about helping yourself build that character, mold your character into the one God really wants us to have. And for me, thats the most important lesson that can be gained. 6. The roles God played in Bruces life were when He was the one who guided Bruce. Yes, God

might be quiet at times, but when we hear Him, everything just falls into place. Just like what happened in Bruces life. God was his turn-to when everything was going against his way. And thats what God truly is in our lives, God is the one who tells us what to do in life, its just our decision if we want to obey or not. 7. Bruces turning point I believe is when Grace walked out of his life because Grace was so

important to him that he could not afford to lose Grace. It is by this circumstance that Bruce really turned 360 and started to become the person he was molded to be. 8. When my mom went to Bangkok, she left money at the currency shop. It was kind of big so

when she got home, she was really depressed and all, and told us that she had had left her wallet with money in it in Bangkok. We were shocked but we just told her that at least she was safe and nothing bad happened to her and money can still be earned. To cut the long story short, after a few weeks, my mom received a call from Bangkok, saying that the owner of the currency shop found moms wallet and that he looked inside to see if there were any identification and voila. To put icing on the cake, my tita, who had just left for Bangkok, said that shed be more than willing to personally get the money and give it back to mom when she comes back home. You see, we are all witnesses to the evils this world has to offer, but when God acts on it. Its really a miracle. Truly, God works for the good of those who love Him. And my family and I are witnesses to that. 9. My personal learning from this film is that when we are given blessings, NEVER ABUSE

and NEVER TAKE IT FOR GRANTED. Sometimes, we tend to get extra busy especially with school works and all and sometimes, we forget that the thing we were fortunately given was a blessing from God and we are just too stubborn to realize it and thank Him. In everything that God gives us, may it be a blessing or a challenge give thanks. The Lord died for us, and that it is said in Ephesians 2:8, For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it

is the gift of God. So shouldnt we be grateful? Shouldnt we be grateful that we are blessed to be called His children? Thanks and God bless.
