Color: Blue, White and Red

History:
At the XVIII century, white was the color wich represents the king and red and blue represent the city of Paris. During the french revolution, these 3 colors are assembled on the cockades to simbolize the allience between the king and the french people. In 1790, the assembly decides that theses colors constitute the French flag. However, at this period, the Netherland's flag is already blue, with and red, and his strips are rebical. That is why the strips on the french flag are horizontal .

Desserts are particular speciality of the French (yogurts, fruits) Mean of transportation: Subway: Only in the big cities. It is cheap, so there are many people.
