SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF THE STUDENTS ASSOCIATION

In the month of May, we celebrated a party at the patio of the school to commemorate the anniversary of the students association. We did a dance. We called a dance teacher, who put different types of music, like salsa. This association was created in 2010 by Dario Expsito, who wanted to have an active representation of the students in the school. The association also organizes events like San Valentn, where all the students can buy a rose or a candy for somebody of the institute. Currently, it is formed by Dario Expsito (president), Laura Gutirrez (vice-president), Lidia Garca and Marta Snchez (administrators), Dani Snchez (secretary) and Miguel Gallego and Mari Loli Piedra (vocals).

Infernal night in the old Town

Forty people of a building in the Real Street were forced to leave their house because there was a huge fire in one of the flats. The only one resident was saved by the firefighter.

The flames began about two oclock of the early morning, 11 June. Some neighbours called to the security forces. Soon the police and the firefighters arrived. Their work was very important to control the situation of the fire. While they were extinguishing the flames the police vacated the people of the building.

Two women went to the disco and they left their children alone
The children were 3 and 4 years old. They were left in a flat sleeping. When they woke up they got help to the neighbours through a window. The events occurred about two oclock in the early morning. The children told to the neighbours their mothers were out of the house and they were alone and scared. When the police arrived, the little girls were crying. When they entered to the flat, the little girls were very dirty. Then the police took them to the hospital and arrested to their mothers.

Spain needs 10 billions of euros

The President, Mariano Rajoy, has showed the European aid for banks. Mariano Rajoy has defended the need to reduce the deficit because Spain cant spend money that It hasnt. He supports reforms in Spain within the EU. Finally, he has said that we must go for an European integrations project in fiscal and banking. Rajoy has indicated that each country must continue to reduce the deficit, further reforms or cleaning up the accounts, but stressed that there are other decisions that are "specifically European."

Endangered species and new species

Many species are disappeared, such as dodo, quagga, thylacine, steller's sea cow, Irish deer, Caspian tiger... Last week, many scientists said that the number of endangered species was higher than the last two years. That's because of the pollution that humans generate and their acts. According to some studies there are less pandas, koalas, tigers, polar bears, penguins and the dangerous whites sharks. The Earth temperature is increasing a lot and icecaps are melt in a great part. Also, many kinds of seaweed are disappearing. Scientists have discovered new species since 2011. Let's learn something of them: - snub-nosed monkey from Myanmar that sneezes when it rains - mushroom that can be squeezed like a sponge - yellow poppy that blooms in the autumn season and can only be reached by hiking miles into the Himalaya wilderness - blue tarantula that may be at risk due to habitat loss and exploitation by the pet trade On the other hand, there are species really estranges produced by mutation. For example, some of them has two heads, or four beaks. They can't live for a long time because they've biological problems (just a 5% of probabilities of them can survive).

The zombie ant

It was discovered in the middle of the last year, 2011. The fungus Ophiocordyceps unilateralis can infect the insect and controls the ant's brain to get food. After that the fungus kills it and infects other ants.

Ten-year-old girl gets vein grown from her stem cells A 10-year-old girl has had a major blood vessel in her body replaced with one grown with her own stem cells, Swedish doctors report. She had poor blood flow between her intestines and liver. A vein was taken from a dead man, stripped of its own cells and then bathed in stem cells from the girl. Surgeons said there was a "striking" improvement in her quality of life. This is the latest in a series of body parts grown, or engineered, to match the tissue of the patient. Last year, scientists created a synthetic windpipe and then coated it with a patient's stem cells.

Edinburgh
It is the capital city of Scotland, the seat of the Scottish Parliament, the second largest city in Scotland and the seventh most populous in the United Kingdom. Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh Castle is a fortress which dominates the skyline of the city, from its position over the volcanic Castle Rock. Theres much to see and admire at Edinburgh Castle, a huge fortification and favored residence of Scotlands kings and queens. Make sure you look for the Royal Palace, created in 1617 in honour of James VI, the Crown Room where the Scottish Crown Jewels are kept, and the Stone of Destiny where previous Scottish Monarchs were crowned. And do not forget to listen at 12:30-1pm as the One O'clock Gun is fired like the people of 1861 did! You cannot miss it!

George Street
Do you like luxury? George Street originally served as the citys financial district. Today, its beautiful neoclassical buildings are home of a collection of luxury fashion boutiques, jewelers, stylish bars, restaurants and clubs. Admire some of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the country including the Assembly Rooms and the Dome Bar, just two of the streets many high-class dining establishments.

St Giles Cathedral
The historic City Church of Edinburgh, St Giles Cathedral is a grand building with a famed crown spire, which stands on the Royal Mile. St Giles Cathedral was founded in the 1120s during a time when the Scottish Royal Family were making strong efforts to spread Catholic Christian worship throughout the Scottish lowlands. Few traces of the original building survive but what stands today is a Gothic style building from the 15th century with many alterations. It was one of the most visited attractions during 2010.

Its main character is Mario Casas, a Spanish actor who was in a hard phase of his life. There is another main character, called Maria Valverde who had a relationship of love with Mario. However they split up at the end of this film. And in the second part, we will see how he began a new relationship with another girl although he wont forget his past relation.

This serie has already finished. This serie has been divided into 3 seasons with interesting and exciting adventures. It has had a large audience. The plot of this serie is about some children with magical powers and they were in danger because of people who just want to take advantage of their powers. This serie ended with the controll of their powers by themselves. Finally they achieved to kill the bad persons.

The writer Federico Moccia gets all the praise in the Circle of Readers.
On April 19 a meeting was arranged between writers from different countries, as it celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Circle of readers of Jan. The purpose of this meeting was that the writers present their new books, and among the most prominent was Federico Moccia, an Italian writer of romantic novels for young readers. The title of this masterpiece Tonight tell me you love me''.

Federico Moccia won the award for best writer of the year. Upon receipt, he thanked all the fans giving away a trip to Italy,'' the city of love'' so they can live scenes of the book.

Pablo Alborn and Estopa in the province of Jan.

Pablo Alborn acted in the theater'' Infanta Leonor May 10 and filled all the seats. All fans were excited and delighted to have their favourite singer just a few feet away. Everyone agrees that that day from Malaga, was particularly handsome. He sang many songs dedicated and explained the reason for his lyrics.

In addition, Tow acted on 9 June at the Alameda. From the first minute, all their fans were singing and dancing their songs. Filled the room and did not disappoint anyone. Two hours were very intense in the Muoz brothers enjoyed a very dedicated audience.

A future promise to painting

During the next few days, Jan can enjoy a wonderful exhibition of paintings, which will leave no one indifferent. The author of these works of art, Amelie calls himself and is in this city. She is only 16 years old and she is an artist. She commented that when she is stressed, painting helps her creativity.

Dear Roberto, I think the best option to earn money in an easy way is to look for a job easier as for example waiter or work in a fast food restaurant. Dear Annie, I think that you can't solve your problem because if your parents want to go to the beach the most probable thing to happen is that you go to the beach, but if you want to know my opinion about the best destination I think your choice is a good one because you can improve your english.

Rafa Nadal has prevailed in the final of Roland Garros to Novak Djokovic by 6-4, 6-3, 2-6 and 7-5. Nadal went to the track like a cyclone after the suspension of the Sunday motivated in the rain. In the three first games with its serve, as soon as it yielded a point. The tension raised of exponential form with the five five and serve of Rafa. Mainly with an controversial point that Nadal protested. The Spanish didn't lose the concentration and its serve took to force the tie-break at least. Bara Regal wins and the ACB will be decided in the last match.
Last Wednesday Real Madrid and Barcelona Regal played the fourth match in the Palacio de los deportes in Madrid. The basketball team of the capital of Spain won the last two matches and Bara Regal only won one match. This last match was very exciting because if Real Madrid won they would get the ACB but the Barcelona played better and they finally forced the fifth match. The victory of Barcelona was partly due to the success of all the team in the field goal and specially thanks to two specific players. One was CJ Wallace, because he scored 16 points and the other was Erazem Lorbek. The slovenian player was the best player in the match and he scored 24 points. The last match will be played in Barcelona in the Palau Blaugrana where the Supporters of the Catalan team will cheer them to get the ACB title. For this emotional match Real Madrid hopes that its stars play better than the other match and they have more success in the field goal. Pablo Laso, the coach of Real Madrid will be able to have all their players unlike Xavi Pascual won't count with his pivot Ndong. The MVP seems to be between two players, one of each team. From Regal Bara the best player in this eliminatory is Erazem Lorbek and from Real Madrid is Jaycee Carrol.
