The Moon in Gnosis from Ch. 31 of Tarot & Kabalah .

There exists a serious1 problem; The Moon tends towards materialism, all terrestrial mechanicity is controlled by the Moon. All life on Earth, the whole terrestrial mechanism is controlled by the Moon, all [of] that mechanical life in which we live is of a Lunar type. The Moon, like the pendular weight of a huge clock, makes the terrestrial mechanism move, the growth of plants, animals, ovulation in women, the ebb and flow of the seas, the high and low tides etc., depend upon the Moon. Life is so mechanical due to this [very] fact, if one really does want to triumph, [then] one must take advantage of the Waxing Moon in ones activities; and also the Full Moon, if the Waning Moon is used, we fail.

La Luna en la Gnosis del Cap. 31 de Tarot y Kabalah Existe un grave problema; La Luna tiende a la materialidad, toda la mecanicidad terrestre est controlada por la Luna. Toda la vida de la Tierra, toda la mecnica terrestre est controlada por la Luna, todo esa vida mecnica en que vivimos es de tipo Lunar. La Luna como una pesa de un gran reloj hace mover la maquinaria terrestre, de la Luna depende el crecimiento de los vegetales, animales, la ovulacin en la mujer, el flujo y reflujo de los mares, las altas y bajas mareas, etc. Como quiera que la vida es tan mecanicista, si realmente se quiere triunfar se debe aprovechar la Luna Creciente para nuestras actividades; tambin la Luna Llena; si se usa la Menguante, fracasamos.

The New Moon is very difficult, it has No force. If one wants to succeed in some activity or in business dealings one INEVITABLY HAS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE WAXING MOON AND THE FULL MOON. NEVER BEGIN A TRANSACTION WITH THE WANING OR NEW MOON.

La Luna Nueva es muy difcil, No tiene fuerza. Si se quiere triunfar en alguna actividad o en los negocios INEVITABLEMENTE HAY QUE APROVECHAR LA LUNA CRECIENTE Y LA LUNA LLENA. NUNCA EMPEZAR UN NEGOCIO EN MENGUANTE O LUNA NUEVA.

In order to control Lunar materialism one must appeal to the perfumes of the rose and violet plants. They must be used in order to control materialism because the Moon exercises a materialistic influence upon the human Mind. It is to our misfortune that the Subjective Elements which we have within are controlled by the Moon
