WA ACCOMMODATION STAFF AWARDED FOR EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM

The high standards of Western Australias accommodation hotels were acknowledged at the AHA 2012 ME Bank WA Accommodation Industry Awards presented at the AHA and Peroni Accommodation Hotel Industry Gala Ball, held at the Burswood Entertainment Complex, tonight. AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods, said the awards underline the importance of the accommodation hotels sector to WA and highlights the vital role accommodation properties play in building the States reputation as a tourist destination. The awards recognise the high service standards and professionalism prevalent in WA and celebrate the ongoing levels of dedication demonstrated by our industry professionals across a range of areas that are imperative to ensuring our guests enjoy a quality experience, Mr Woods said. Our accommodation hotels provide a home away from home for the high numbers of corporate guests working in the State and a base for the thousands of tourists from overseas and interstate that travel to Western Australia. Without the high standards of dedication and service being practiced at our accommodation hotels, visitors to the State would be left feeling less than satisfied. Being able to stay at a quality hotel that is dedicated to taking care of you, is a vital component of attracting people to WA for events and other tourism and entertainment activities.
