El hierro fue otro mineral cuya exportacin se realiz por un monto de US$523 millones, superior en 75.3% al del ao anterior. Fueron embarcadas 7.7 millones de toneladas mtricas, 10.9% ms que en 2009. El precio que se pag fue de 67.6 dlares la tonelada mtrica, 58.1% ms que el ao anterior. El molibdeno fue otro de los minerales que comercializ nuestro pas por valor de US$492 millones, 80.8% ms que el ao anterior. Se despacharon 16,700 toneladas mtricas, 36.5% ms que el ao 2009. Fue vendido a 1,338 centavos de dlar la libra, 32.4% ms que el ao anterior. Como pas polimetlico el Per produce y exporta varios metales, uno de los cuales es el estao. El valor que se obtuvo en este caso fue de US$663 millones, 39.5% ms que el ao anterior. Se embarc 33,500 toneladas mtricas, 11.1% menos que el ao pasado. El estao se cotiz a 897.7 centavos de dlar la libra, mayor en 56.9% a la del ao anterior. En la minera no metlica destacaron las exportaciones de fosfatos que alcanzaron los US$ 53 millones (613 mil toneladas). Como ya se indicado, el impacto de la minera en la economa nacional es muy amplio. En el Per, el nmero de personas cuyo sustento se basa en esta actividad es de 2519,520, de las cuales 125,976 obtienen empleo directo, 503,904 empleo indirecto y 1889,640 personas dependen de los trabajadores
An increase of 38% was observed as well as in the amount corresponding to the sales of zinc, which were US$1,691 millions. The companies involved in the production of this metal exported one million 310, 400 metric tons (TM), 4, 2% less than the previous year. The average price of this mineral was 58, 5 cents of dollar per pound, 44,1% more than the previous year. The exports of lead increased US$1,579 million, which is 41, 9% higher than the previous year. 770 thousand metric tons, 13, 3% more than in 2010, were shipped to different destinations, with an average price of 93 cents of dollar per pound, 25% higher than the amount paid in 2009. The value of refined silver exports was 118 million of dollars, 44,8% lower than in 2009. It is worth mentioning that Peru is the top silver producer in the world. The volume commercialized has been 6, 2 millions of troy ounces, 62,1% lower than the amount sold the previous year. Iron was other mineral which was exported by an amount of US$523 millions,

Molybdenum was another mineral commercialized by our country at a price of US$492 millions, 80, and 8% higher than the previous year. 16,700 metric tons were exported, 36,5% higher than in 2009. It was sold at a price of 1,338 cents of dollar per pound, 32,4% higher than the previous year. As a polymetallic country, Peru produces and exports several metals, one of them is tin. The value obtained in this case was US$663 millions, 39,5% higher than the previous year. 33,500 metric tons were shipped, 11,1% less than the previous year. Tin was quoted at 897, 7 cents of dollar per pound, 56,5% higher than the previous year. In non-metallic mining, the exports of phosphates that reached US$ 53 million (613 mil tons) stood out. As indicated before, the impact of mining on the national economy is considerable. In Peru, the number of people which means of support are based on this activity are 2'519,520 from which 125,976 obtained a direct job, 503,904 obtained an indirect job and 1'889,640 of people depend on workers.
