In my work as an Education and Training Coordinator at Boys Town New York, I was
responsible for the development of curricular materials for extracurricular youth

I developed a transitional program for the older youth, as the organization's
focus had been directed at younger children. I also worked with parents, through
developing relevant workshops on education, worked with the microfinance team to
link SKIP mothers with local businesses that could sell their crafts, and worked
with the mayor's office in Trujillo to give recognition to superior teachers in
the local public school to encourage professional development. In addition, I
developed an English as a Second Language curriculum for SKIP, and taught English
classes in the local public school.

finding and carefully training replacement teachers.

I took a leave of absence from my position at Boys Town to work in Peru, and had
