This is my first post on this forum.I' ve seen that many peoples find it difficult to configure Wifi to use on their Laptop/ Notebook in the BSNL's latest Type-II modem. You can also switch to Bridge mode where all ports are open by default.
An invasion of armies can be resisted, but not an idea whose time has come . How would you react, if you board an auto-rickshaw/taxi, the vehicle takes you at good speed for 1/4 th the distance and then drives at 10 kmph stating that other vehicles have the right to use the road at good speeds?

This is good post with pictures, working in my system .
But it is connecting directly to internet if modem is on.

Change to bridge mode. Simply log in to your modem, change PPPoE to Bridge.
