An Exhortation towards Gods Will Gods will for my life moment-by-moment is more joy-filled, more passionate, and more

exciting than any other alternative course of action. It guarantees fulfillment and satisfies. It builds day after day into something far greater than any individual act. It is worship. It is love. It is God-aggrandizing and other-edifying. It deepens good relationships and works on all relationships. In challenging times, Gods will produces perseverance, character and hope. In all times, it produces praise-filled acts of grace. It is the only coherent option for the Christian. It is my identity in action: To live is Christ. Walk in the Spirit. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Bear fruits in keeping with repentance. Be renewed in the spirit of your minds. Put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. What is it in the brokenness of my human condition to neglect the most natural, the most wonderfully sublime, way? To feel in the moment only the soul-hollowing call of the carnal nature, and to lose the still small Voice? To our knees, Christians!, that we might recover early in the day and all during its course the truth of our identity and not find ourselves without Gods Full Armor when the flaming darts assail! There is strength in Jesus to stand firm and power in the Word to stay the course through the attacks of falsehoods within and without. And, in this manner, to reap a harvest of righteousness as our heads go down to the pillow at night; and on the last day to present before God the greater part of the life He desired to produce in us.
