Geography
Where is your country situated? How big is it? Which are the bordering countries? Which are the main regions? Are there rivers, lakes, hills, mountains or is it flat? What are the major cities? Describe your favourite region.

Climate
How many seasons are there in your country? What are the differences between seasons? Are there any differences between the regions? Do you have a lot of rain? Or snow? Which season would you recommend to a tourist to visit your country? Why?

Population
What is the population of your country? Are there a lot of young people? How big is the average family? Are there any ethnic minorities (people whose native language is different)? Are there any tensions between different minorities?

Languages
What is the official language in your country? What other language(s) can you speak? Is your language very different from English? What is difficult for you in English? Which languages are taught in your country? When do children start learning a foreign language?

Education
Describe the education system in your country. (primary school, secondary school, university) What subjects do children study? Is there a lot of homework? Are there a lot of tests and exams? Are there private schools? Do children wear uniforms at school?

Economy
What is the economic situation in your country? Is the economy growing? What are the main products exported from your country? Is unemployment a big problem among young people?

Environment
Are cities very crowded and polluted in your country? Do people use their cars too much? Is there enough freshwater for everyone? What are the main sources of energy? How can we take care of our environment? (recycling, renewable energy)

Festivals
Which are the main festivals / holidays? When are they? How do people celebrate them? How are birthdays celebrated in your family?
