    CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS

    Long time ago, most people thought the Earth was flat; only a small amount of people believed it was round. Christopher columbus a young man from Genoa, Ital, wanted to find a shortest route to get to india to prove the Earth was round. Supported by the king and queen of Spain, Fernando and Isabel, Columbus got on board the three caravels baptized as La Nia, La Pinta and La Santa Maria. After sailing for a long time, on the afternoon of October 12th 1492, he thought he have arrived to Asia but he never imagined that island was part of a new continent : America.
