Journal Entry #2 Week 2 Students Lack Strategic Knowledge about Reading, Writing, and Problem-Solving.

This week the students worked in partner groups. I took the knowledge that I gained from Logan last week and incorporate the explicit strategies for the Think Sheets I planned to implement for the students this week. I had to develop Language cue cards for the students, they had sentence stems to support, and build up their language. I modeled, they observed (I DO), and then I modeled with them (WE DO), and then they were able to practice on their own in their partner groups (YOU DO).
