Last year, the narrator and their friend Evan took a trip to France. They studied French for two months before leaving. When their flight arrived, they were nervous and excited. On the flight, the flight attendants spoke French and they practiced with them. When they arrived in Paris, they took the subway from the airport to their hotel. Every day they rode the subway. The narrator felt thrilled to be in another country. Evan fell in love with the city and wants to move there. While there, they ate croissants, went to museums, saw monuments, and met people.
