Dear Julio: I read your proposal and I found it useful for BCB and probable participants. At the BCB we have a program called Curso de banca central focused in BCB staff, especially non-monetary areas. I support your idea, but there are some shortcomings to take into account. The most important is that the program must be coordinated between our institutions executives. They have to decide about the realization of the course, the program, the scope (only EMI or other universities) and the lecturers in every topic, including the remuneration and the fees. I can not make any decision about that. Also, I think that one year is too long for this kind of programs. Last but not least, I think that the syllabus must include statistics and econometrics, finance and microeconomics, in the last case focused in banking. I will think about this idea and how to promote it. Best regards,
