Factores que estructuran el rol del psiclogo en educacin especial

Resumen
Se analiza la labor y el rol de los psiclogos en escuelas especiales en la Regin Metropolitana de Santiago de Chile. La investigacin se desarroll en forma exploratoria y descriptiva, incluyndose en el estudio variables contractuales y funciones ministeriales. Se observ un bajo promedio de horas profesionales de contrato (20 horas) y una distribucin desequilibrada en el desarrollo de las funciones. Se concluye que la cantidad de horas es insuficiente para las funciones del psiclogo, privilegindose las relacionadas con el ingreso de alumnos (diagnstico). El rol del psiclogo est estructurado por factores administrativos, de actuacin profesional y de formacin universitaria. Palabras clave: Rol del psiclogo, educacin especial.

Abstract
The work and role of psychologists in special schools in Santiago, Chile was analyzed. The present research was developed as an exploratory and descriptive study, including the study of specific variables and government functions. A low average of paid professional hours was observed (20 hours), and an unequal distribution in the development of the functions. The conclusion was that the number of hours is insufficient for the functions of the psychologist, which emphasizes the aspect concerned with the students enrolement (diagnosis). The role of the psychologist is structured by administrative factors, professional work and university studies. Key words: Role of psychologists, special education.
