Salesperson: Hello, can I help you? Customer: Yes, please. Im looking for a gift for my aunt. Shes just moved into a new house. Salesperson: How about getting your aunt a clay bowl? Weve got a lovely collection of clay bowls from South America from Peru, Guatemala and other countries in South America. Customer: Um, I dont know but this is a beautiful lamp. How much does it cost? Salesperson: Three hundred pounds. That lamp was made in Italy about 100 years ago. Customer: A hundred years ago? Wow! Its beautiful, but Id like something cheaper. Whats this? Is it a teapot? Salesperson: Yes, its a teapot and its also a cup. Here, have a look. Customer: Thats nice very original. My aunt will like that! Salesperson: Yes, its very special. Its made of porcelain. A Russian artist made it and these other porcelain cups. Customer: Is it also very old? Salesperson: Oh, no. It was made last year. Customer: How much does it cost? Salesperson: Its 110. Customer: Oh, I see. Is there anything cheaper? Salesperson: Yes, of course. Have a look at some of these candles. Theyre very colourful and pretty. Customer: Oh, no! My aunt hates candles. She moved to her new house because there was a fire in her old house and candles caused it. Salesperson: Thats terrible! Customer: Yes. Well, actually, I think your first suggestion was the best. How much are the clay bowls? Salesperson: Theyre 20. Customer: Yes, a clay bowl is a very nice present. This bowl is beautiful. Ill take it.
