Autor: COLOMA, Coloma Tony Wellinton Tutor: MSc. Ypez, Edison RESUMEN Los problemas que actualmente existen en la enseanza universitaria son de sobra conocidos. Por un lado la masificacin estudiantil, los modelos tradicionales de transmisin del conocimiento que han demostrado ser poco eficientes y alejado de los resultados de las teoras actuales de aprendizaje que propugnan procesos de aprendizaje activo, que favorezcan la construccin personal de conocimiento. Por otra parte la Educacin Superior en el Ecuador y en particular en la U de Guayaquil se ha mantenido al margen del uso de la tecnologa en pro de mejorar la calidad del proceso de Enseanza - Aprendizaje. La aparicin de la informtica y su gran desarrollo, la utilizacin de las TIC como recurso educativo en el mundo globalizado actual, han provocado la necesidad imperiosa en la universidad ecuatoriana de acoplarse al auge tecnolgico. El uso del software educativo se hace cada vez ms evidente dentro del proceso de enseanza aprendizaje de los distintos niveles de enseanza; el centro de estudio de este proyecto de tesis, especficamente es proponer determinadas vas para la utilizacin de la computacin y el software educativo en el desempeo profesional del Profesor General Integral de Educacin Superior, las cuales permitan elevar el nivel de aprendizaje en los estudiantes. Los motivos anteriormente expuestos constituyen la causa para la realizacin de la presente investigacin, cuyo propsito es usar el software educativo como estrategia metodolgica en el proceso Aprendizaje y elaborar un Mdulo de Enseanza de la Qumica para los estudiantes de Ingeniera Qumica de la Universidad de Guayaquil. El cual permitir con su aplicacin, mejorar la enseanza a nivel superior. El estudio est concebido como proyecto Factible de realizacin, apoyado en una investigacin de comprobacin de Hiptesis.

Este trabajo va dirigido a mostrar la gran variedad y utilidad que ofrece el Software Educativo en la Educacin Superior, con sus ventajas y desventajas. Se estudia la unidad didctica del proceso EnseanzaAprendizaje. S exponen algunos elementos conceptuales bsicos relacionados con la Qumica, la Ingeniera Qumica y el Aprendizaje, un proceso de naturaleza compleja, cuya esencia es la adquisicin de nuevos conocimientos, habilidades o capacidades. ABSTRACT The problems that currently exist in the university are well known. On one hand the student overcrowding, traditional models of knowledge transmission that have proven inefficient and far from the results of current learning theories that advocate active learning processes that favor the personal construction of knowledge. Moreover Higher Education in Ecuador and in particular at the U of Guayaquil has stayed out of the use of technology towards improving the quality of the teaching - learning. The emergence of information technology and its great development, the use of ICT as an educational resource in today's globalized world, have resulted in urgent need of engaging the Ecuadorian university technology boom. The use of educational software is becoming more evident in the process of teaching and learning of different educational levels, the center of study of this thesis project is to propose specific ways to use certain computer and educational software the professional performance of Integral General Teacher of Higher Education, which help raise the level of student learning. The above reasons are the cause for the realization of this research, whose purpose is to use educational software as a methodological strategy in the learning process and develop a teaching module of chemistry for students of Chemical Engineering at the University of Guayaquil. Which will allow your application to improve the teaching level. The study is designed as a feasible project realization, supported by a research hypothesis testing. This work is intended to show the variety and value offered by the Educational Software in Higher Education, with its advantages and disadvantages. We study the teaching unit of the teaching-learning process. Are some basic conceptual elements related to Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Learning, a complex process nature, whose essence is the acquisition of new knowledge, skills or abilities.
