    Razak, Quinn World History period 3 10-16-11 You are there diary Dear journal, (day 4 1505)

    Today I had to deliver another message. It is a hard job being a chasquis because I have to run to the place where they need it. I have to deliver another message to another village because they need more potatoes. There are three messenger stations in between so it should be easy to pass along the message, the third messenger will have to cross the mountains and that should be hard. The fire after the corn was thrown in for the sun god was a big one so the sun should appear. The mountains are starting to get covered with snow so winter must be coming.

    Dear Journal, Today I will farm some potatoes near the mountains. The emperor wants to have as much as possible for the winter. The Curacas will need to inspect that to make sure it happens. The bridges that we use to get through the mountains are starting to break, and they need people to fix it.
