SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST

OUR PREPARATION

Around the globe not a single evangelist missed the opportunity to exhort the listeners on
the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I agree that this needs to be the message of
the hour. All prophetical messages of Word of Jesus pointing to His Second coming are
fulfilled and hence we are sure He is at the doorstep. He promised in John 14:3, “And if
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also”. It is also the angelic revelation, “Which also said, Ye
men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up
from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into
heaven”.(Acts 1:11 ). But many concentrate to decipher the prophecies to get to know
WHEN He shall come and HOW He shall come. Both these aspects are arbitrary. It is
indeed true that our message must be in line with John the Baptist who said, “Repent ye:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”. (Matthew 3:2). We need to interpret the scriptures
to emphasize the fact that His coming is at hand. But exact time is immaterial. He himself
said that , “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be”. (Matthew 24:27). Nobody can say the exact
time when the lightning shall strike. So shall be His coming. He also warned that , “But
of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only”.
(Matthew 24:36). So let us not waste our time and energy trying to find out the time of
His coming. We must be ready and make others ready for His coming ANY time.

Again it is not necessary to investigate HOW He is planning to come – whether secretly

or with shouting. Both these aspects have supporting scriptural verses and it only
confuses the listeners. A CEO of a company sent a message of His arrival for inspection
of one of his offices situated in a multistoried building. Hectic preparations were on but
no one could get the clue how is he going to come. All expected him to flow in by air and
arrive at the office in his car. But alas he came by his personal chopper, which landed on
the terrace of the multistoried building. The staff never expected this route and hence
dumped all unmanageable paper and junk files on the open terrace. The wind generated
by the helicopter rained papers all over making the staff to bow downs their heads. What
does it matter whether He comes secretly or with shouts of acclamation – the fact remains
that HE IS GOING TO COME and ARE WE READY? He himself said, “For yourselves
know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night”. (1
Thessalonians 5:2). Hence we aught to, “WATCH THEREFORE: for ye know not what
hour your Lord doth come”. (Matthew 24:42).

Are we ready? Our Chairman and his team of Directors announced their visit to our
office. We cleaned all places, exhibited our achievements, and demonstrated our
capabilities with few experiments on the table of our laboratory. When the team finally
arrived our Managing Director deviated from the troupe and went behind our building
and below the staircase leading to the first floor and traced all the junk we stored behind
the visitors’ eyes. What a shame on us? So let us forget all aspects of WHEN and HOW
He is going to come. Let us get READY TO RECEIVE HIM. What are the preparations
for His coming?

1. WAIT - 1 Corinthians 1:7 “So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ:”

There is a waiting room in every railway station. Who waits there? - Those passengers
whose train is scheduled to come but not in near future. Those who wait know the
approximate time of their train, the platform to which it lands, and their ears are tuned to
the pagers, which announce the schedule of the arrival of their train. Similarly we are to
wait for the coming of our Lord. Jesus Christ himself told how we should wait in 25th
chapter of Matthew when he explained on the parable of ten virgins. All ten were waiting.
All were sleeping, just as we do in the waiting room. All had their ears tuned to the sound
of the Bridegroom coming. But only five were prepared with the needed oil for their
lamps but the other five exhausted theirs. That is why we find above St. Paul warning
Corinthians to wait for the coming of our Lord at the same time acquire the gifts needed
for self edification and for His service.

2. LOOK FOR – Titus 2 : 13, “ Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”.

Those who wait for the trains in the waiting rooms rush to the platforms when the time of
their train is announced. They ‘look for’ the train anxiously and hopefully. They keep
their luggage ready to board the train just when it arrives. Same way when we hear the
prophecies of His coming is fulfilled one by one and we are to ‘look for’ His coming with
great hope. We need to keep our accounts ready to be presented to Him as He comes.

3. BE READY – How should you be ready?

1. Watch - Matthew 25:42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 : I was a stranger, and ye took
me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye
visited me not. Good deeds done in His name can be carried with us. So as
we watch we need to be ready with good works.
2. Duty bound: Matthew 24:45 to 47 – we read of our Lord’s description of
two types of servants. Both were duty bound to feed the Lord’s house
which means their duty is to feed with new souls into the Lord’s garners.
Servant who realizes his duty performs it well so that “Blessed is that
servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. (Matthew
24:46). He will get his due reward, “Verily I say unto you, That he shall
make him ruler over all his goods.” (Matthew 24:47). But as per 48th
verse the evil servant says “My lord delayeth his coming” and he
continues in his evil ways and gets due punishment when his Lord appears
in an unexpected time. This is where revelation of the maturity of time for
His coming is needed.
4. LOVE HIS COMING - 2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to
me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Dr.D.G.S.Dhinakaran tells an imaginary funny story. It was sermon time when a

lay preacher was ferociously preaching on His Second coming and exhorting the
congregation to be ready for His coming. Suddenly a young kid rushed into the
church and proclaimed “Daddy Jesus is coming”. At this, every member of the
congregation ran to hide themselves and the preacher was found covering himself
inside the pulpit. What happened was, in South India youngsters are habituated to
address pastors as “Daddy Jesus” and this kid saw the local pastor arriving the
church and he proclaimed it. Yes, we preach and testify on His second coming.
But do we love the day. A doctor treating a terminal patient was surprised at the
courage the patient was showing and asked his how he is so daring to die. The
patient asked the doctor to open the door of the sick room. Immediately the pet
dog of the patient jumped in and started licking the feet of his master. The patient
said that out of his great love for his master the dog patiently waited for the door
to be opened. Similarly the patient who loves His Master so much that he
anxiously aawaits the door of death to be opened to him for the happy reunion.
Every day I finish my family prayer thus : “Lord if you are coming this night
please receive us into your home. If your call comes to us this night please keep
us awaiting in your Paradise for your final coming”.

5. BE BUSY – Matthew 25:14-30 – Parable of talents

Every servant got his share of talents “according to his several ability”. The Lord has
given each and every one of us our due share according to our capabilities. Two of his
servants were busy with what they received and profitable for their master. One servant
was skeptical and argumentative and hid the talent. The other two were appreciated since
they kept themselves busy and the last one who was lazy was condemned.

If the Secret coming of our Lord is true then we need to explore the lives of those who
had the precedence of secretly taken by our Lord. They are Enoch, Moses and Elijah. If
we meditate on their life style we will get clue how we should we be ready like them for
His secret coming.

1. ENOCH : Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took
him. What way Enoch was busy before he was taken up secretly?. “And Enoch walked
with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and
daughters:”(Genesis 5:22). He had contact with God (born again) after Methuselah was
born. Since then, as he walked with God, what was his performance? He begat sons and
daughters. He was a family man and sincerely obeyed Lord’s commandment in
upbringing his family. Those who are not chosen for specific tasks can just do this. They
can walk with God. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. (John 1:1). Walking with God means walking with His Word since Word
is God. “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day
and night.”(Psalms 1:2). So if we meditate in His words through out the day,
simultaneously performing our daily family chores then we are walking with God.

2. MOSES : Deuteronomy 34:5 “So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the
land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the
land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this
day”. Moses had a secret death and a secret burial. Not only that, his body, since it was
brought up in a pagan land under pagan way, was claimed by Satan and Lord’s angels had
to fight for it before it was taken to Heaven. “Yet Michael the archangel, when
contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against
him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee”. (Jude 1:9). Hear is a man who
was originally under ungodly bringing but had a specific call of God. If you are such you
need to prepare to obey God’s call and change your basic personality as Moses did.
Moses, who was ready to answer death for death, became a humble man (Num 12:3).
God Himself certified him as faithful (Num 12:7). He had the privilege to talk to God
face to face (Num 12:7,8). Such commitment is required if we need to be taken secretly
by our Lord.

3. ELIJAH : 2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that,
behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both
asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. He was a good example of
those who are lead by the Spirit of God. Prophet Obediah says that, “And it shall come to
pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither
I know not;…. (1 Kings 18:12). He ran before the mighty chariot of Ahab pulled by many
horses and out ran him and reached before him by the Power of the Spirit of God.(I
Kings 18:46). So if you need to experience secret transmission from this world to His
world you must move by the Spirit of God.

ARE YOU READY? HE IS AT THE DOOR STEP. WHICHEVER WAY HE CHOOSES

HE SHALL COME AS PER HIS WILL. WE NEED TO BE PREPARED TO BE TAKEN
BY HIM AFTER HIS WILL.

He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.

(Let us say together) Pray with me : AMEN. EVEN SO, COME, LORD JESUS.
Revelation 22:20
JOYFUL CHRISTMAS

Dearly Beloved in Christ Jesus,

WE GREET YOU ALL A JOYFUL AND CHRIST FILLED

CHRISTMAS

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace.

We find here two introductions. One - a child is born and two - a son is
given. A child being born is a common phenomena of the world. But a
son being given is something special. Usually the world over Christmas
is celebrated with cribs showing child Jesus. Many wish to identify
Jesus only as child Jesus. But child Jesus has no importance in the
Word of Jesus.

Child Jesus had to be carried by His parents. "And when the days of
her purification according to the law if Moses wee accomplished, they
brought him of Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord ", Luke 2:22.
Son Jesus carries us through out our life time. "And even to your old
age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and
I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you".Isaiah 46:4

Shepherds had to travel a cold terrain to see the child Jesus. "And it
came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven,
the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto
Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord
hath made known unto us". Luke 2:15. But the Son Jesus himself
came to see His people. "He came unto his own, and his own received
him not". John1:11

Child Jesus was lost in the crowd and His parents had to come seeking
Him. "And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not
that I must be about my Father's business?" Luke 2:49. But the Son
Jesus came seeking the lost. "For the Son of man is come to seek and
to save that which was lost". Luke 19:10.

Child Jesus had to be in subjection to His parents. "And he went down

with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: ......."
Luke 2:51. Son Jesus brought all His people under His subjection.
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee
from you".James 4:7.

Hence this Christmas season let us check up whom we are adoring.

Child or Infant Jesus have no powers as the Son Jesus has. Hence we
will have the Joy of Christmas only if we identify Jesus as the Son - the
Son of God and also Son of Man. He is the link between God the Father
and the Man. He who was Son of God lowered Himself to become Son
of Man as we find in Philippians 2:6,7, "Who, being in the form of
God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God (7) But made
himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and
was made in the likeness of men".

The key verse says. "a son is given" - not just born but given.
Whenever we celebrate Christmas we should also meditate why He
was born. He was born so that He may be given. Given for what? We
find in Luke 22:19 that "he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake
it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you:
this do in remembrance of me". Bethlehem means "House of Bread".
He took bread from the house of bread, Bethlehem. John 1:1 says,
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God". So Jesus is the Word. In Luke 4:4, "Jesus answered
him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but
by every word of God". Hence Bread is Word and logically Bread is
Jesus. This bread He took from Bethlehem, house of bread and Broke
it. He broke it on the Cross. "And when they were come to the place,
which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors,
one on the right hand, and the other on the left". Luke 23:33. and
then He 'gave' it to them. Yes, unto us a Son is Given - on the cross.

If we identify this we have the real Joy of Christmas. Mind you - I am

repeating JOY of Christmas not just Happiness of Christmas. People
around the globe who celebrate Christmas are Happy of the occasion.
Happiness is temporary. It will be lost when the occasion passes over
us. But if you identify the Son Given for us on the Cross we can enjoy
the EVERLASTING JOY of Christmas. Luke 2:10 "And the angel said
unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great
joy, which shall be to all people". DO YOU HAVE THIS JOY?

Please join with me in Prayer - "Dearly beloved Son of God, Jesus Christ of
Bethlehem. We identify you as our Saviour given for us from Bethlehem to be
crucified on the Cross. Since your death on the cross has driven away our fear of
death (Hebrews 2:15) we are truly Joyful in this Christmas. Let this joy be
multiplied by us and through us to all our dear and near ones. In the Name of
Jesus of Bethlehem we pray... Amen"

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

Dearly Beloved Brother and Sister

Luke 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were goneaway from them into heaven, the shepherds said
one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord
hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

We greet you and your beloved family members a "HAPPY NEW YEAR - 2007".

When a New Year dawns it is customary and habitual for every person to have few
resolutions shortlisted for the New Year. This is generally based on experience of
failures and shortcomings due to certain activities of the previous year and
observation of our fellowmen how they were successful. But we also need to
acknowledge that most of these resolutions remain as resolutions without any
performance after probably 10 or 15 days of the first month. This is because human
habits die hard. So we need to allow certain Divine intervention of our New Year to
make it successful. This is possible if we meditate on our key verse given above. This
incident took place after the Birth of Jesus Christ.

RESOLUTION NO.1

The first message of Gospel was carried by none other than the angels of God who
appeared to a group of shepherds in the middle of the night watching their sheep. On
hearing the news their immediate response was "Let us go even unto Bethlehem and
see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us."
Bethlehem means "House of Bread". Hear we need to do some logical conclusions. As
per Luke 4:4, " And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live
by bread alone, but by every word of God." Bread is equated with Word of God. As
per John 6:35, " And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:" Jesus equated to
Bread. So Bread is Word and Word is Jesus. Bethlehem contained the Child Jesus and
the Bible contains Word of God. So the first Resolution should be "let us go to
Bethlehem, the Bible and see Jesus, the Word". As they went went to Bethlehem
they SAW Jesus the babe. Many of us have the habit of regularly reading the Bible
but do we SEE JESUS in it. The men at Berea did not just receive the Word but
searched the Scriptures verify what was told. "These were more noble than those in
Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched
the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." (Acts 17:11). Seeing Him means
seeing Him with heart , mind and soul. When we see Jesus people shall see Jesus in
us. "But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou
mayest do it". (Deuteronomy 30:14). We can very easily see Him since it is not
hidden from us or far from us (Vs 11) nor it is high for us to reach nor it is in depth
(Vs 13). When we reach His words it shall be searched by others from our mouth.
"The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked
with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. (7) For the
priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for
he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts." (Malachi 2:6,7) St. Paul says that we are
the priests of God in Romans 5:10. We shall EAT the word since it is sweet as honey
(Jeremiah 3:3, Psalms 119:103). We shall meditate the Word as cattle chews its cud
after a fast eating, and the larva devours the leaves and waits in cocoon till it is
transformed. So we shall take this resolution to SEE JESUS daily in the BIBLE.

RESOLUTION NO.2

Luke 2:17 - "... when they had seen" Next important resolution is that we shall SEE
JESUS. We should have this desire in us. Job had the desire. "Whom I shall see for
myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed
within me. " (Job 19:27). We can find real life in us only if could SEE HIM. "For the
life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that
eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;" (1 John 1:2).
To have this life eternal we need to see Him. But there is a condition to enable us to
see Him. Matthew 5:8 says, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God".
So we need purity in heart to see Him. Man's heart is evil from birth as we find in
Matthew 15:19," For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries,
fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies". So we need to transform our hearts.
I Corinthians 13:11, says, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a
child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things".
This transformation comes from the Word of Jesus. "And I will give them an heart to
know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
for they shall return unto me with their whole heart." (Jeremiah 24:7). Let us purify
ourselves with the Word of Jesus and then SEE JESUS in every verse and in every
sight He guides us through.

RESOLUTION NO. 3

We find in Luke 2:17, " they made known abroad the saying which was told them
concerning this child". We are not to just read the Word of Jesus, See Jesus, but we
are also expected to spread the news what we gathered from the Scriptures and
what we had witnessed on the performance of Jesus in our lives. If we read John 4th
chapter a Samaritan woman confronts Jesus. She was woman of weak character and
hence came to draw water during free hours when no one was around. Jesus asked
of her water to drink and leads her by personal evangelism to receive living waters
from Him which means Salvation and Anointing which shall spring forth from us to
others. She did not prefer to keep it to herself. Despite her bad reputation she
ventured to go into the village and evangelize them into coming to the knowledge of
the Salvation offered by Jesus Christ. She rushed into the village and said "Come,
see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?" (John
4:29). we find in John 4:41,42 that " many more believed because of his own word;
(42) And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we
have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the
world". Thus she drew attention of others unto Jesus. Once you find this salvation or
enjoy liberation by His words you cannot keep it to yourself. During a famine in
Samaria a group of lepers plunged into Syrian Camp and found free food there and
they decided to carry this message across to their people despite their rejection by
healthy people of their land. We find this in 2 Kings 7:9, " Then they said one to
another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if
we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore
come, that we may go and tell the king's household". Resolve today to ," Preach the
word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine." (2 Timothy 4:2).

May God Bless you and your family members abundantly this New Year with
Heavenly Blessings while meeting all your earthly needs as per "But my God shall
supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians
4:19 )

SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST

PREPARATION - PART I

COME HOLY SPIRIT, UNITE US

We are fast approaching the festival of Christmas, which is the first coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This
period is called by Presbyterian Churches as ‘advent’ meaning period of ‘preparation’ for His Coming. Now
we are in a period waiting to receive Him as He has promised that He shall come again. The fulfillment of
prophesies from the Scriptures as deciphered by many learned men direct us to the proximity of His Second
Coming. So our ‘advent’ for now is ‘preparation’ for His Second Coming. I am sure you have read my
earlier revelation on ‘SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST: OUR PREPARATION’ (Please refer
archives). The first preparation is to obey His Command as perMark 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye
into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”.He knew that we are not qualified to do this
assignment. Hence He exhorted the early disciples, "behold , I send the promise of my Father upon you:
but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high"(Luke 24:49).As
promised He filled them with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost with whose help they can prepare
souls for His Second Coming. We are going to meditate on the aspect of receiving the Power from above to
prepare for His Second Coming. Holy Spirit is God as acknowledged and believed by Traditional,
Episcopal, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic churches in their common Apostles and Nicene Creeds. It is
believed by the Pentecostal and FullGospelChurches to the fullest extent. This revelation tells us that the
Holy Spirit is sent basically to unite us in the work of preparation for His Second Coming.

If you notice the verse inActs 2:1 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one
accord in one place". The antonym for the same is“Andwhen the day of Pentecost was partially come, they
were all with different accord in different places”. Since we are assembling in different places under
different names the day of Pentecost in our times is fulfilled only in partially. That is why the result of
today’s ministry is also much less than the one during the first Pentecost when " they that gladly received
his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls". (Acts
2:41).The Holy Spirit is given to unite us in Ministry.

1. We find that when God created mankind on earth “ And the whole earth was of one language, and of one
speech".(Genesis 11:1).It was man who provoked God to disunite them with diverse languages,"Go to, let
us go down and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
(Genesis 11:7).Since this was not as per the intention of God, for building His new kingdom with His Son
Jesus Christ as the King, He wanted to unite all the mankind into one fold as we find inJohn 10:16, " And
other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and
there shall be one fold and one shepherd". Now on the day of Pentecost there assembled people of 16
different languages (Acts 2:7-11).They were all dispersed tribes of Israel who felt it their bounden duty to
assemble at Jerusalem, during yearly Pascal Sacrifices. Due to their dispersion among nations they had
totally forgotten their mother tongue and they owned the language of their migration as their mother
tongue. On the day of Pentecost as the disciples prayed together the listeners all acknowledged" how hear
we every man in our tongue, wherein we were born". (Acts 2:8). Again we see inActs 2:6, " Now when this
was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them
speak in his own language". If you carefully analyze this incidence, the disciples under the influence of the
Holy Spirit SPOKE only in their (disciples) mother tongue but they wereHEARD by their listeners in their
own mother tongue. This is the gift of tongues. This is misunderstood by present day churches and they
attribute a dialect which is not understood by the listeners as the tongue of the Holy Spirit.

There are two different types of tongues,"I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
....." (1Corinthians 13:1).‘Tongues of men’ should be understood by men where as only angels can
understand ‘tongues of angels’. We find in2 Corinthians 12:4Paul when,”… he was caught up into
paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter” meaning he heard
tongues which is not understood by him who knew many languages of men. This is angelic tongue. This is
given to men when they are praying in solitude to pray as per the will of God. When we pray after our will
we pray in our earthly tongue. When the Spirit of God intervenes it is said,"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth
our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered" (Romans 8:26),meaning He makes us to pray
in a tongue not understood by us. We use this language not in the knowledge of men around us but secretly
between us and our God as we find 1 Corinthians 14:2, "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue
speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh
mysteries (secrets) ".

As I was engaged as a Team Leader to inspect and certify a 38 feet tall Pressure Vessel, I was standing on
steel scaffolding on the uppermost elevation inside the vessel discussing a finding along with the officials
of our client. About 50 of my team mates are engaged in different assignments at various locations of the
scaffolding. Suddenly the scaffolding collapsed and all of us were coming down on bent pipes. If any one is
caught in between he shall be squeezed. Immediately I lifted up my voice and started to pray in unknown
tongues. Immediately God heard my prayers and I could feel the presence of hundreds of angels moving
around the vessel. Not a single team member or members of the client suffered any serious injury and we
were all saved. That is the power and purpose of the unknown tongues.

In the church we are to speak in a tongue which shall be understood by all. Paul says"Yet in the church I
had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten
thousand words in an unknown tongue". 1 Corinthians 14:19”.If we come across a situation where a
church is occupied by members of different tongues, then Holy Spirit will give a gift with which, when we
speak in OUR OWN TONGUEall the members shall hear inTHEIR OWN TONGUE.This situation has
never occurred in most of the churches and hence the need did not arise to use this gift.
2. Jesus said ," I and my Father are one". ( John 10:30). He declared that He performed the activities of
His Father because of their oneness. He encouraged His disciples to be one among themselves as he
prayed,“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
“ John 17:22 (John 17:11 , John 17:21).He encourages us also to be One among ourselves. This oneness
alone can help the churches to perform miraculous ministry. We find inActs 5:12, " And by the hands of the
apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in
Solomon's porch).Nowadays miracle ministry is confined to individual evangelists and churches do not
share this testimony, because of this reason that the churches are not united. Unless we unite we cannot
become the real body of the church for which Christ is the head.

Shall we pray together :

O Holy Spirit, unite worldwide churches into one body in Christ so that we can perform the
miraculous ministry of the early church. Please take away differences among us due to petty causes.
Being in one accord let every church add into its membership at least hundreds per day. At this rate
we will build the church fit enough to be taken up with Jesus Christ when He comes as promised. In
Jesus Name we pray… Amen

SELF APPRAISAL – CHECK YOUR EYES

Dearly Beloved in Christ Jesus

There is a big question why these lent days are fixed and observed by traditional churches
followed by Episcopal, Evangelical and Pentecostal churches as well. How they observe
may be different but some form of observation is noticed among all believers. Every
church head has realized that only these observations keep the church members closer to
the church and hence they leave it undisturbed. We are going to meditate from this day
on various aspects we need to ponder over during this lent period. Every business
establishment earmark a certain period especially at the fag end of their financial year for
stock taking. During this period they do no other routine jobs but for checking the books
of records and physically verifying for the assets in the recorded form either as raw
material, or work in progress or finished products. If such verification is not done then
the organization fail to show profit and the net worth of the organization is not correctly
assessed and the share holders cannot easily share the profits. In the same lines in our
Christian life also we need to have a stock taking to check how far or closer are we from
the Word of Jesus. To aid us in this stock taking process Job a believer of God who had
ups and downs in his life takes time to appraise his spiritual condition. This we find in
31st chapter of Job. We are going to review our spiritual condition based on this chapter.

We find in Job 31:1 Job says “I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I
think upon a maid?” He is checking how his eyes are controlled in his physical body. He
relates his association with his eyes on a covenant in his life. He remembered what
covenant he had made with his wife on the day of his marriage that he shall love her and
share all his goods for her welfare till death separates them. Keeping in mind the Word
of Jesus which defines adultery not on extramarital relationship but on just looking at
another woman and imagining sexual contact with her he declares that his eying a woman
with desire amounts to breaking the covenant with his wife (Matthew 5:28). Note that in
the 1st verse he says he ‘thinks’ with his eyes. How can you think with your eyes? You
can only see with your eyes. This is clarified in Job 31:7 where he says, “…., and mine
heart walked after mine eyes, …..;” If your heart walks after your eyes then you start
thinking with your eyes. You look at a person of opposite sex due to necessity of life and
so far no problem. When you allow your eyes to start thinking, analyzing her beauty or
appearance, then sin creeps in. We find in 2 Samuel 11:2 And it came to pass in an
eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's
house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very
beautiful to look upon” David saw a woman and permitted his eyes to think and assess
the beauty of another man’s wife and there started adultery. Dear brother and sister if you
control your eyes from ‘thinking’ then many extra marital relationships and divorce can
be totally avoided. The Word of Jesus says in 1 John 2:16, “For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but
is of the world”. It was due to lust of the eyes did Eve fell to the temptation of Satan as
we find that, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was
pleasant to the eyes, ……and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he
did eat (Genesis 3:6).

Lust need not come from viewing opposite sex only but also from viewing the beauty of
the world around us. Genesis 13:10, "And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the
plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom
and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest
unto Zoar”. When Abraham gave the choice of land for Lot he used his eyes and lusted
after the cities of curse Sodom and Gomorrah. These cursed cities looked like Egypt and
Eden for him indicating that he lusted after natural beauty (Eden) and artificial beauty
(Egypt). His wife went on step ahead to desire the land even after destruction of God was
against it as we find in Genesis 19:26, “But his wife looked back from behind him, and
she became a pillar of salt”. How about us? Are we giving our eyes for such lust after
natural beauties and artificial beauties. But our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ saved us
from the lust of the eyes as He was victorious in similar temptation of the Satan for lust
of the eyes as we find in Matthew 4:8, “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding
high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;”.

Desire on others’ properties comes only through our eyes. The Commandment says,
“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife,
nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy
neighbour's.(Exodus 20:17). We many times desire the possessions of our neighbours
and because of this we fall into debts and sometimes led to heinous crimes. Word of
Jesus warns us, “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy
whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of
darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
(Matthew 6:22 ,23)

Let us check up our eyes and refine our life in the light of Word of Jesus.
Prayer
Dear Lord God Almighty, Help us to analyze our eyes and note when we went
wrong. Help us to refrain from second look at evil, be it a woman / man,
possessions, natural or artificial beauty. Help us to keep our eyes on Jesus so
that our eyes may not start ‘thinking’. We pray in the sweet name of our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

I AM THE LORD WHO HEALETH THEE

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy
God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments,
and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought
upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Dearly Beloved in Jesus Christ

May I start my interaction with you with a testimony? As I entered into the service of the
Lord, as a trained evangelist my mentor, a man of God and a prophet of this century Bro.
D. G. S. Dhinakaran of Jesus Calls International Power Ministry (Please visit :
http://www.jesuscalls.org/profile/dgs.asp), I received from my mentor a prophetical
revelation that I am called for the ministry among the sick. Immediately after the training
I proceeded in this healing ministry and have on record the testimonies of many healed
people. God started loading me with few more gifts and used me in other ministries also
apart from healing ministry. Latter God opened the avenue of prayer ministry. Few
surgeries on me and a road accident crushed me down to a chronically sick person. Latter
my association with academic institutions shaped me into a ministry for Spiritual
Counseling, especially among the youth. I kept the gift of healing ministry in the shelves
and continued in counseling ministry and this WORD OF JESUS ministry also started in
the same vein. Recently on 28th January,2007 I had the opportunity of attending a
Family Get together Meeting in which another man of God and a Prophet of God
Bro. Mohan C Lazarus of Jesus Redeems ministry
(Please visit : http://www.jesusredeems.com/Mohan_Lazarus.html ) shared the
Lord’s Message and prayed. Lord revealed through him my chronic sickness and I
was called to the stage for further prayers. As the Lord revealed through him my
total healing from my chronic illness he also revealed that the Lord has chosen me
for the healing ministry and hence as He has healed me now He shall use me to
intercede for healing of others. Hence I have dedicated from this issue my message
for this Healing Ministry. Please call on me to intercede for your health needs. (visit :

As I scanned through the pages of the Word of Jesus I noticed that for the first time the
message on Lord’s healing touch is written in Exodus 15:26 as noticed above. This
follows the event that took place as soon as the Israelites crossed the Red Sea. They
straight away enter into a wilderness which was later named as Mara, meaning Bitter
since the water available was so bitter. On hearing their murmuring similar to that they
pronounced in Exodus 14:11 “And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves
in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus
with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? 12 Is not this the word that we did tell thee in
Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for
us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness”. As the Lord heard
their murmur He first healed the waters and sweetened it. Following this incident He
issued this promise.

We take only the promise “I am the Lord that healeth thee”. We fail to notice the
portion written just before it. This portion is identified as ‘covenant’. A covenant is an
agreement between two parties. Here God instructs what we should do and what He shall
do. We are to 1. Harken (Heed) unto His Voice 2. Do right in His Sight 3. Hear with our
ears (both outward and inward) His commandments and 4. Keep all His statues which He
is yet to pronounce. If the above instructions are done by us then He shall prevent any of
the diseases they noticed among the Egyptians which was poured from the Lord. This
also means that the reverse of this covenant is also true. If we do not Harken unto Him, if
we do not do right things, if we fail to hear His Commandments as they are pronounced
and if we do not keep His Statutes then HE SHALL PERMIT THESE DISEASES
WHICH WAS BROUGHT UPON THE EGYPTIANS. Are we covenant breakers?
We have covenant with our Lord - one made during our conversion and baptism and
another made when we were anointed by the Holy Spirit and we were confirmed as full
church members. We have made covenants with our organizations for which we work.
We have made covenants made with our spouse. We have made covenants made with our
Government which rules us. Have we broken any of them? We have made covenant with
our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on sharing His Body and Blood which was broken and
shed for transforming our body and spirit. Have we broken it any time by receiving them
unworthily without confession for our sinful nature? The Word of Jesus says in 1
Corinthians 11:29 “For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh
damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak
and sickly among you, and many sleep”. This is the cause for many of the sicknesses.
Shall we look back where we have gone wrong?

The first instruction is ‘ Harken unto His voice’. Are we heeding His voice? Adam hid
himself from His voice since he disobeyed His commands. (Gen 3:10). We may try to
hide from physical sight. But we cannot hide our ears from His voice. As a father or
mother would you tolerate if our children fail to hear our voice? As a head of a team of
employees would you tolerate if our subordinates fail to hear our voice? But we have
many times failed to hear our Master’s voice. God could not tolerate his chosen king of
Israel Saul when he failed to hear his voice. 1 Samuel 15:19 Samuel said to Saul,
“Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil,
and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?” Hence Saul was dismissed from being His
chosen King and it was given to his servant. When you have failures in your career can
you ponder where you have disobeyed His Voice? His voice is clear from the Word of
Jesus or it may be heard from others or it may be learnt from the situation we face. It
need not be thought to be thunderous. It can be a soft voice as heard by Isaiah in 1 Kings
19:12 “And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the
fire a still small voice”. God promises that if we are ready to heed His voice He will
consistently guides us as we find in Isaiah 30:21 “ And thine ears shall hear a word
behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and
when ye turn to the left”.

Second instruction is ‘wilt do that which is right in his sight”. Many a times we do
things satisfactory to our own conscious. The Word of Jesus says in Proverbs 14:12
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of
death”. We are not sure of the way and hence we should keep ourselves transparent to
His sight. As we find in Proverbs 21:2 “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but
the LORD pondereth the hearts” it is He who examines our heart to finalise if what we
do is correct or wrong. Many times we do things which looks to be good in the sight of
others as well as our earthly eyes. But deep in our heart there may be some vested
interest which can be seen by our Lord only who weighs our heart. We find in Hosea
14:9 “ …… for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the
transgressors shall fall therein”. People with vested interests will fall even if they do that
which is right in the sight of the Lord. So we need to be careful.
Next instruction is “wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes”
Commands and Statutes are two sides of the coin. Commands are issued by our Lord as
prime motive of His creation. This is short listed by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew
22:37 “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with
all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And
the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two
commandments hang all the law and the prophets”. Here it is the priority of our love. So
we give our FIRST PREFERENCE to love our Lord mentally (heart), spiritually (soul)
and physically (mind). If we fail to give this preference even in one facet of love then we
fail to keep it first. Second preference is to our fellowmen. But this is equated to love
experienced on SELF. Many fail in this. If you really love yourself you do not harm your
body by exposing it to the evils of smoking, drinking, drug abuse and adultery etc., Your
are expected to Love yourself. Then only you can Love your fellowmen as you Love
yourself. On the other hand Statutes are set of regulations to be followed to maintain
relationship with other fellowmen and the rest of the creation of God. Since what was
dictated by Him in the Old Testament through Moses and other Prophets lost its vigour
due to time, the Apostles of God had written clearer Statutes in their letters to churches.
Are we following them literally?

The last portion of the key verse, for I am the LORD that healeth thee is totally
anticlimax of the covenant. If we disobey we are punished with sickness. When we are
sick He is the one who heals us. This verse has different meaning in its original writing.
It identifies the name of the Lord as JEHOVAH ROBEKA meaning the Lord supplies
the way or treatment for the sickness. At the shores of Marah the children ‘murmured’
which is disobedience and distrust to their Lord who brought them out of Egypt in a
wonderful way. But instead of ignoring them He supplied their healing by providing a
tree of healing. This tree is typical of the cross of Christ, which sweetens the bitter
waters of affliction to all the faithful, and enables them to rejoice in tribulation. If we are
kept well, it is He that keeps us; if we are made well, it is He that recovers us. He is our
life and the length of our days. Let us not forget that we are kept from destruction, and
delivered from our enemies, to be the Lord's servants. At Elim they had good water, and
enough of it. Though God may, for a time, order his people to encamp by the bitter waters
of Marah, may be sickness or tribulation that shall not always be their lot. Let us not faint
at tribulations.

God knows that the cause of sickness is our disobedience to His Commands and
Statutes. He also has a treatment for it ready in hand the Blood of Jesus Christ to cleans
us from Sin the cause for sickness and the Wounds of Jesus Christ to heal us. Isaiah 53:4
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him
stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he
was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed”. The tree which healed the waters of Marah is Jesus “Who his own
self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live
unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed”. (1 Peter 2:24) . Dearly Beloved
brother and sister are you afflicted by bitter diseases. Know that there is way out for you.
The Blood of Jesus Christ shall first deliver you from your sins the root cause for the
sickness and then the Wounds of Jesus Christ shall heal your disease. Please join me as I
pray for you, placing your hands on this prayer with faith. “Again I say unto you, That if
two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done
for them of my Father which is in heaven”. (Matthew 18:19). Come we shall agree
together.

PRAYER

O Lord our Healer. We come to thee in faith that you shall override our sinful nature as
you cleanse us by the Blood of your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ. Our bodies are
afflicted with sickness. We claim your promise to heal us through the stripes received by
Him. Please let the wounds of Jesus Christ fall upon me and heal me from sickness crept
into my blood. You have fixed limits for the chemical and physical constituents of my
blood. Let the sugar content, cholesterol content and the pressure and rate of flow
characteristics of my blood by controlled within the limits through Jesus Christ. We
rebuke any blocks in the blood flow in the name of Jesus Christ. The unwanted growth
of tumors and germinated tissues due to viruses, including that of cancerous germs in my
organs disappear in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let my internal organs which have defects
either by birth or due to abuse be renewed as new organs in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Let the nervous system which has lost its vigor be regenerated in the Name of Jesus
Christ. Let the sickness on the parts of my head ears, eyes, nose, throat, tongue, teeth
etc., be healed by the Blood of Jesus Christ which flowed from His wounds from the
horrible crown of thorns. Let the rheumatic pains on our limbs be lifted out of us as they
are laid on you as we find in Isaiah 53:4 that “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried
our sorrows”. Let the Blood of Jesus Christ which was spread all over His body cleans us
from all our skin diseases. We believe that every one who joined this prayer is healer
instantaneously. Let us testify our healing with all our fellowmen around the globe so
that Your Name is Glorified and others are encouraged to reach you. In the Name of our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray…..Amen

JESUS ON THE CROSS

Dearly Beloved in Christ Jesus

It is customary to meditate on the cross of Jesus when we approach the Good Friday. I
wish share that if any celebration is important in the Christian Life it is not Christmas but
the Good Friday. It is only customary to observe the day as a day of sorrow and people
dress with mediocre dress and attend the service with a sorrowful face. On the other
hand it is not a memorial day of a departed soul. We do spend a day of sorrows when we
remember the day of our dearly ones departure. But Jesus is not a departed soul. He is
alive today. We cannot spend a day of sorrow. It is a day of joy that our redemption is
wrought on the cross though in a horrible way. A surgery is horrifying not only for the
patient and his relatives but also for the surgeons. Once the operation is a success the
surgeons rejoice and on hearing of the news the family members also breathe a sigh of
relief. That is what exactly happened on the cross. Jesus bore all our sin-sickness on His
body and was subjected to a surgery of torment by satanic forces only to claim
triumphantly “It is finished”.

We come to Calvary, where we hear the sweetest story ever told; Calvary, where the
chasm between God and man was bridged forever; Calvary, where God loved as no one
has ever loved; Calvary, where God proved His magnificent love for us; Calvary, where
Christ accomplished His redemptive work for us; Calvary, where our poor souls find
salvation, satisfaction, happiness and Heaven; Calvary, how terrible if we did not know of
Calvary.

IT IS FINISHED !!! What is finished?

1. Our guilt of sin is finished :

We have come across many accidents in which few do not show any sign of open
wound but they die without shedding a single drop of blood. Again there are
occasions when people get the members of their bodies severed and few blood is shed
it almost freezes immediately and the limbs and the torso still contains some frozen
blood. But in the case of Jesus the purpose of His being tortured is only to shed every
drop of blood. He saw to it that every drop is shed without fail. During the dark hours
Satan brought the iniquities of every one of us before Him for which immediately He
produced some quantity of His blood. This way He spent all His Blood and finally
He declared IT IS FINISHED. It means that Satan has no more stock of accusations
against us since the fine is fully paid. That is why immediately the curtain of the
Temple of God was torn in two from top to bottom and Jesus entered into it as our
High Priest carrying His Blood as a ransom for our sins.

2. Our sickness is finished :

Sickness in our body is not designed by God. It was introduced by Satan as result of
our disobedience to God’s plan, as a result of sin and as a result of miss use our abuse
of our faculties designed by God for particular purpose. Sin does bring sickness.
Hence Jesus had to plead for forgiveness of sin before He healed the palsied man in
Matthew 9th chapter (And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying
on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good
cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Matthew 9:2) and the infirmed man at Bethesda in
John 5th chapter. (Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him,
Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. John
5:14). Then we see sickness craving us due to disobedience to God’s plan to our
body. Overeating, unbalanced eating, unhygienic eating and unseasoned eating cause
disease in our bodies. Next we come to abuse. Our lungs are not designed for being
filled with smoke, our liver for liquor poison and our brain for drug stimulants. Our
reproductive and pleasure organs are not designed for extra marital relationships and
for homo and lesbian practices. Such misuse and abuse pours sickness into us. The
only way of redemption from sickness is to pay a compensation for it. Since sickness
is painful the compensation needs to be painful. Hence the prophet Isaiah says “But
he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah
53:5. Matthew also reminds us that “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by
Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses”.
Matthew 8:17. He counted the stripes He was bruised for us from the time He was
arrested at the garden of Gethsemane followed that which was inflicted on Him on the
cross. When He was aware that the number of wounds suffice the compensation for
all the fundamental categories of sickness He declared IT IS FINISHED.

3. Our sufferings is finished

We find in Isaiah 53:3 that ,”He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows,
and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised,
and we esteemed him not”. Many of us come across this situation when we are
rejected and despised by men – our friends, our love, our family or our colleagues
some times our church members. People flock around us only when we have money,
fame or name. If we loose any one of such potentials we are despised. Some times
due to age we may loose the potentials. Even then we find rejection and spend our
time in home for the aged or unattended corner of a house. Sometimes we are forced
to suffer either mentally or physically without anyone to aid us or support us. The
only way out is recognizing His presence with us who said , ” ….and be content with
such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”.
Hebrews 13:5

PRAYER

Dearly Beloved Lord Jesus Christ

You loved so much that you finished my portion of the race for me. Now I am free from
the clutches of sin, sickness and worry. I can keep it only if I am ready to share it with
you to suffer for others. If I am to follow you I must take up my cross. Help me to do so
with Thy help. In Jesus’s Name I pray…..Amen
