    NECESSITY OF SITES: - Business has units in Multiple Locations. - Helps in building the replication topology. - Client computers find the closest logon server based on the site.

    AD Site is made up of: -Subnets -Site Links -Domain Controllers and Client Computers

    SITE:

    Site Link: The connecting WAN Link between the sites. Site link has an important parameter called COST depending On the BANDWIDTH it can support.

    Connection Object: Each domain controller in a site has one or more


    connection objects, which define a replication connection to another domain controller.
