Follow the following steps to Configure the port before creating the dialer

Click on start menu Go to control panel Go to phone and modem option (in classic view) or printer and other hardware & phone and modem option (in category view) Click on modems tab Click on Add Check the box (don t detect my modem ) Click on next Select first option communication cable b/w two computers Click on next Select the desired port and click on next. Select the created modem from the list and click on properties Click on the tab modem Change the Maximum port speed from 19200 to 38400 Click on ok ok Now follow the following steps to create the dialer.

Click on create a new connection

1. Click on open map 2. And select the LOCALNE.map
