Dibujando la cancin
A. TEACHER INSTRUCTIONS: Show students just the first verse of the song. Ask the students if they think
the phrases are literal or symbolic (i.e. does he really want to make a shirt out of her skin? This isnt Silence of
the Lambs, its a love song!). Lead them through the meaning
B. The teacher has students number off 1-5 and then tells them to draw a picture that represents the verse that
corresponds to them (#1=verse 2, #2 = verse 3, #3=verse 4, #4=verse 5, #5=verse 6)
C. The teachers asks students to form in groups of 5 with at least one person for each number. Each group is
given one graphic organizer. Without looking at the song, students must put the verses (the sticky note
drawings) in the correct order.
D. Without looking at the song, students will try to write as many words as they can remember from each verse
on the graphic organizer to the right of the drawing.
