and John Crow Mountains National Park conservation spread out
over 78,000 hectares (200,000 acres) of tropical rain-forest in the
north-east of Jamaica. It is one of Jamaica’s primary eco-tourism
attractions and is a sanctuary for several species of birds like the
woodpecker as well as many plants such as firms and trees not
seen anywhere else on the island.
