I am twenty-eight years old and am currently leading worship and assisting with
a church plant called Portico Church in North Richland Hills, TX, which is a par
t time position. I moved to Keller, TX in January of 2010. I am outgoing and e
nergetic. Wherever I work, I want to be part of a team that has a vision and be
lieves in the future of the company. I want to be somewhere where innovation an
d creativity are very important to the employees and the company.
EXPERIENCE
Worship Leader/ Church Planter, Portico Church, North Richland Hills, TX- 1/2010
- Present
Supervisor: Kyle Raney. I am currently the worship leader and co-church plante
r for Portico Church. As a church planter I meet people and share our vision of
church with them and share in the story of redemption through Christ. I organi
ze meetings with donors and do a great deal of fundraising for the church. I ha
ve helped organize insurance plans (minimally) and set up non-profit status and
functioned as an executive pastor for the church in this time.
Personal Trainer, Self employed - 1/2007 - Present
Over the past several years, I have assisted friends and family with workout rou
tines and diet options. I have written and helped guide personalized exercise p
rescriptions for them. I have worked with people from teenage years to mid-fift
ies.
Student Worship Pastor, First Baptist Church Broken Arrow, OK - 6/2008 - 1/2010
Supervisor: Kyle Raney. I served as one of the student pastors at FBC Broken A
rrow. I assist in the planning of events and leadership experiences for student
s and adult leaders. My main job is to design and organize the worship experien
ce for students and adult leaders for weekly services.

/2007 - 6/2008
Supervisor: Randy Impson. I organized the worship service experience for stude
nts as well as Bible study groups for college students and high school students
on their campuses.
Physical Therapy Tech, WIED Physical Therapy - 8/2006 - 1/2007
Supervisor: Jay Manning. I worked as a Physical Therapy Tech in my internship
for my degree. I worked alongside the Physical Therapist administering exercise
prescription and treatment. I have been exposed to many different injuries, su
rgeries, and types of treatment patients. I assisted both wellness and rehab pa
tients in exercises and stretches. I also helped in floor maintenance and clean
liness.
Purchasing Assistant, Steel Fabricators of Monroe - 8/2004 - 8/2006
Supervisor: Carl Statham and Christi Payton. I worked in the input department
here. Steel Fab does structural work for commercial buildings. I also worked i
n purchasing. Here I dealt with sales representatives from several companies.
I sent out inquiries, sorted the estimate costs and made the best decision of wh
at to buy.
Retail Sales, Abercrombie & Fitch - 2002 - 2004
Supervisor: Shauna Harrell. At Abercrombie, I worked in the store helping peop
le make purchases and trying to keep them informed as to what was best for their
taste. I worked the register and also worked the stock room, making sure that
we had everything we needed and that it was in the appropriate areas. I also a
ssisted in floor plans and set changes in the store.
Retail Sales, Stage Department Store - 2001-2002
Supervisor: Kristy Biddy. At Stage, I worked in the shoe department and in men
's clothing. There I would assist customers with any questions or needs. I als
o maintained the look of that section of the store, making sure that things were
neat and in order.
Research Assistant, LSU Research Station - 1999 - 2000
Supervisor: Dr. Ralph Bagwell. At the research station in Winnsboro we conduct
ed controlled field experiments of different types of crops in order to determin
e what would help them grow and yield the most efficiently.

gy (Exercise Science Major) CAAHEP accredited. I am also CPR/First Aid Certifi
ed through Red Cross. I have the American College of Sports Medicine Personal T
rainer Certification.
SKILLS
I am always interested in learning new things and I am a quick learner. I can t
ype at 68 words/minute, use ten-key, and all of the Microsoft Office programs.
I enjoy people and getting to know them and helping them in anyway that I possib
ly can. I am very much a persuasive person and use those skills when needed in
making a sale or attempting to help explain an idea that could further a company
or organization or aid an individual. I like finding new and more efficient wa
ys of doing things.
