You Sent Me

You sent me
flowers, and
more.

Rustles of
sheer softness,
like a touch of
velvet’s kiss yet, such
softness savagely cut
the veins and buds of
my soul.

Drippings of
silken scents from
the wild- fragrances desired
by hungry senses
yet, too far
to touch.

I’ve known
allure and grace
intimately, like mistflowers
confined within fragile circles,
a fortress- the grave of
infinity- and my
efflorescence.

Indeed, you’ve
sent flowers, and
more- to me.
