I.X. SWOT ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS

The Parish is able to serve the needs of its community. Masses are held with regards to
their respective time schedules. Likewise, the Parish has various groups that will cater the
needs of the community in terms of religion, raging from the children, youth and to the
upper ages. Every group has its own responsibilities. One of their admirable strengths are
the Volunteers for each group, like the Volunteer Catechists. Who serve the church and
help them to be able to reach to the children. There are also parish priests who are able
and willing to serve and conduct the holy mass.

WEAKNESSES

The Parish is still in the process of raising fund for the renovation of the church.
Likewise, the facilities are still under construction. There is also a need to encourage
other lay people to join the church community to increase the number of people who
serve the church and help in sharing their knowledge and skills for the goodness of the
Lord’s preaching to the society.

OPPORTUNITIES

The parish has different opportunities to widen its goal to spread the good news of the
Lord, because of its loyal officers and people who are willing to share their expertise and
knowledge to the community. The Parish may also have the opportunity to raise fund to
finance their need for the Parish because of the people who are willing and able to
donate, or even to at least contribute to their mission and vision.

THREATS

Due to the number of opportunities in the society, the people tend to just focus their
minds to different things, like applying for a job, going to school, and so many other
things. Even to have indulged themselves to other opportunities that would offer them
money. Having different religions appearing to the public nowadays, can also be
considered a threat for the Parish because, some could offer different activities, especially
to the youth that makes them be persuade to join the said religion.
