TOWN OF ROSTHERN’
BYLAW 2010-11
ABYLAW OF THE TOWN OF ROSTHERN TO AMEND BYLAW NO. 2008-07, KNOWN
AS THE OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN OF THE TOWN OF ROSTHERN.
‘The Council of the Town of Rosthemn, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts this bylaw to amend
Bylaw No. 2008-07 as follows:

Part 3 OBJECTIVES AND POLICIES 3.1 RESIDENTIAL 3.1.3 Policies is amended by
deleting the last sentence in (4) and substituting the following thereto:
“Council may adjust this guideline, where it is of the opinion that a sufficient supply
of desirable lots is not available to meet future anticipated housing lot demand or
where it wishes to accommodate a residential development having unique character,
density and design features and access to amenities or recreation.”
Part 3 OBJECTIVES AND POLICIES 3.1 RESIDENTIAL 3.1.3 Policies is amended by
deleting the first sentence in (5) and substituting the following thereto:
“If and when sufficient land is no longer available to accommodate additional
residential development (pursuant to policies contained in Section 3.9.3 —
Agricultural Land and Fringe Area(s) or where the Council has adjusted the phasing
of residential lots to accommodate a unique development as noted in (4) above, new
residential development will be encouraged to locate in areas noted as ‘Potential
Residential’ on the Future Land Use Concept.”
This bylaw shall become effective on the date of approval by the Minister of Municipal
Affairs,
Introduced and read a FIRST time this 6* day of December, 2010.
Read a SECOND time this 14"* day of February, 2011.
Read a THIRD time and passed this 14" day of February, 2011.
