What is Psychoanalysis of Simund Freud?

It is a method of psychological therapy in

which “the talking cures” (having cathartic release through emotion in words). Major
contributions of Freud include free association (freely talking about whatever comes to mind),
dream interpretation (what the underlying meaning of dreams is), psychosexual stages, the
unconscious (what we are not aware of), defense mechanisms, psychic structures (i.e. id, ego,
and superego).

According to our topic, it says that, each human have unique personality. It only
depends on how they are treated during their childhood. It's like the past shapes the present.
For me, this is true. It's because during our childhood, we undergo psychosexual stages which is
unconscious means, we didn’t know that it is existing. Through these stages, we can detect if
our action that time is appropriate to our age and because of how we are treated that time, we
can detect what personality we have when we grow older. For example, our toilet training
during childhood, it will reflect to our personality when we grow older depends on how we are
treated that time. If we are treated very strict, there is a possibility that when we grow older,
we are like OC. Another is our defense mechanism. Base on my own experience, those defense
mechanism which done unconsciously is true. Sometimes, not knowing, I undergo that defense
mechanism. Like, displacement, most of the time, I am doing this mechanism. Instead of
punching people, I will punch object or those things that I know it won’t be hurt.

To sum it up, it all depends on how we are treated during our childhood on what we are
becoming when we grow older.
