PREFACE

Google is the world infamous search engine, millions of people world wide uses it, for the
purposes of seeking, seeker are googling what ever form of keyword to search and discover
information which may eludes them.

Why choose the term Googling to Sufism? Most people seek before the discover, what they
seek only the seeker knows? And what are presented before them? Thousands or millions of
choices? It is up to the seeker to decide which information are important to them.

I choose to highlights Google because at the end chapter of this book I will be sharing what
the web have to offer regarding Sufism. May the discovery benefits some of the seeker of the
path.

This book is a memoir of my journey along the Sufi path as a disciple of the Nimatullahi sufi
order. As such in this book I will also provide links and pointer to some nice pages or website
regarding the current Nimatullahi disciple of the world. So this is an interactive e-book with
lotsa links along the way.

I am in the process of writing this ebook in the memory of our late Master Dr Javad
Nurbaksh, whom thru his grace have paved the road to my novice entrance to the path.

Without further ado, I am sharing with you some of my recollection of my early travels and
understanding of the path from the eyes of the nimatullahi sufi order.

Chapter 1.

"In truth, all was He and will be He - not I."- Dr Javad Nurbaksh

1996

Santa Cruz California, I am always fond of Santa Cruz being a small city by the ocean, its
beckons visitors as to its scenic views and its small populations.

I spend a great deals of time by the beach walking, fishing and sometimes shopping.

It was the winter of 1996, I decided to spend the night by the beach alone, seeking solace, not
in a motel or hotel, but alone by the beach, taking the last bus bound for Santa Cruz, I exited
the last bus. I walk to the nearest isolated beach and waited for sunset, admiring the scenic
sunset and nature at its core.

The is no need for camp or fire I thought tonigh I will be alone with nature and seek to be at
one with GOD?
