Pattern Instructions
1. Cut one brim on the fold and one crown. Sew/serge brim to crown, matching notches and easing
crown to brim between notches.
2. Cut trim fabric the width specified on the pattern. Make double-fold tape from trim fabric.
3. Attach double-fold tape along neck edge first, using a zigzag stitch or decorative stitch. Cut
tape even with raw edges of brim.
4. Attach tape to the remaining raw edge of brim, centering the tape on the brim so ends are even
and extend beyond the hat enough to tie. Again, use a zigzag stitch or decorative stitch.
