Welcome to IIQ IPuzzfes, a collection of over 500 puzzles to challenge and test your mental agility and problem-solving powers.

The book is crqonlsed into twenty levels of ascending clWficulty - the first chapters me easier than the later ones. Each level is dearly markecl d own the side of the page. We advise that you work through ecch one in a meihodkol order and resist the temptation to clip in and out at random. If you find the first few cho pters ,easy. please be patient and use them as a 'Wfj rm -up excerdse for the more challenging puzzles later on.

When you finish each chapter take time to study the answers and go back over the questions until you fully understand the log ie behind them. You will find, as you progress through the book, that certain mathematical patterns seem to re-oc cur or visual clues overlap. Be warned: these can help but just when you think you can recognize a pattern it changes!

Think laterally, don't just look at the obvious, look at the puzzles from all angles. The rewords can be hours and hours of fun.

Over the page we have listed a f,ew tables which you might find helpful. These contain some basic mathematical formulcs to help you do baffle with the puzzles.

Goocl luck end ,enioy~
