F. Steps You Need to Do/Know when You Apply

for Approval of New Water Reticulation Plans
and Associated Works to any Proposed
Development

1. Developer will appoint a Civil Engineering Consultant to manage

the preparation and submission of water reticulation plans and
associated works.

2. Consultant will forward propose water reticulation and associated

works plans to New Mains Section. For enquiries, please contact
082-240371 ext 501 or 502 or 503.

3. Upon approval, an approval letter and capital contribution bills will

be forwarded to Consultant and copy to Developer.

4. Developer shall appoint a Licensed Main layer to execute main

laying works and made payment of the capital contribution (c.c.)
bills prior to commencement of work, and forward the receipted
c.c. bills to New Mains Section.

5. Upon completion of execution of water reticulation works,

Developer will receive the Flushing and Supervision Bills and is
required to submit the receipts of paid bills to New Mains Section.

6. Taking over/Handing Over is approved and forwarded to

Distribution Section for commissioning.

7. Certification of Commissioning and date of defects liability period

of 12 months issued to Developer and Consultant.

8. Taking Over of Maintenance of Pipeline Certificated issued upon

expired of 12 months defects liability period.
