Me, José dela Torre Page 2 Consistent with these requirements and based on information provided by UPR and its scctditing agency, wit regard to separate accreditations, we have determined tbat cach fof the UPR campuses must submit an application to the Department to participate inthe Federal student aid programs authorized by the HEA as well as anyother programs under the HEA. ‘Staff fom our School Participation Team has contacted Mr. Heman Veznueztl of your staf to provide details snd assistance on the steps necessary to complete the submission fof participation applications from each campus. Steff will also be asking for aditional {nformation about the svike and its impact on te campuses as apart of the applications toresume participation. ‘As noted above, because ofthe campus specific acreitation provided bythe Mile Sates Assocation of Schools and Colleges (Middle States), each ofthe UPR campuses rust apply separately to participate in the federal student aid programs. The Departent fannot process an application for the University as singe institution unless your ‘sccreditation fiom Middle States recognizes that stuture.
