ATTENDANCE:
If you are not in class before the last bell rings, you will be marked late. It is crucial that
you attend every class! If you miss a class, it is your responsibility to collect the
notes/classwork you miss, and you are required to make up all missed assignments.
3 tardies = 1 unexcused absence
3 unexcused absences = automatic warning of possibility of failure (to student/parent)
5 unexcused absences = attendance intervention plan will begin (handled by counselor/admin)
Further unexcused absences = failing grade for that course

MAKE-UP WORK:
Students who are absent with an excuse, have one day to make up work for each day
absent. Missed work due to an unexcused absence will receive a grade of zero. Please
see us upon your return to schedule a date for make-up tests or quizzes.
OFFICE HOURS:
Ms. Merwin is available for extra help Monday-Thursday during lunch in Room
2091 and after
school by appointment.

If you have any questions or concerns about the work or class in general, come in right
away! Dont wait until the last minute and risk undesired consequences.
GRADING:

Final Grade = 10% Homework Completion

90% Assessments:

chosen)
