year duration with minimum 60% marks in every semester (iii) Knowledge
of use of personal computers and its applications.

Experience :

1. Candidate should have more than 1 year of post diploma experience


in Operation and Electronic & Electrical maintenance of CNC and
Conventional Machine Tools.
2. Candidate should have hands on experience in Industrial Electrical
System faults diagnoses & troubleshooting, PLC System faults
diagnoses & troubleshooting, maintenance of Servo drive & motors
and maintenance of Pneumatic & hydraulic actuators.
3. Candidate should have sound knowledge of Power Electronics,
Motors & Motor Control Systems, Control Systems (Open and Closed
Loop), Programmable Logic Control (PLC) system, Advanced PLC
operations (PID and SCADA) and Automation.

Desirable :
1. Exposure to the installation and commissioning of shop floor machine
tools and fair working knowledge of Digital & Analog electronics,
transducers and associated instrumentation.
2. Knowledge of C Programming Language.
3. Knowledge and operational experience of using CAD/CAM package
Expertise in one of the solid modeling tools such as Solid Works, NX
etc. and one CAM software, such as MasterCAM, NX CAM, DelCAM
etc. The candidate should be familiar with G-code programming.

Job Profile : The candidate will be required to (i) work on software
development projects in a team e.g. web application development using

General Information :
Higher starting salary could be considered for deserving candidates at Sr. Nos. 1, 2 & 3.
Candidates at
Sr. Nos. 1, 2 & 3 are liable to be transferred to other
Centres/Field Stations of the Institute, if required.
Appointment for the posts at Sr. Nos. 1, 2 & 3 will be initially for a period of three years,
including probation period of one year. Continuing appointment beyond the initial period
of three years will be subject to the results of a comprehensive review and performance
appraisal. After successful review, the appointment is continued till superannuation age,
which is sixty.

For the Posts at Sr. Nos. 1, 2, & 3 applicants

as per extant GOI rules are required to submit applications by POST, alongwith a copy of

iii. Outstation candidates called for recruitment process for the above posts will be paid
single Second Class
(not air-conditioned) return train fare for the
journey by the shortest route from the nearest railway station of their place of
residence on the production of photocopies of onward and return journey tickets.
Those candidate/s who travel by air are required to travel only by the
national carrier, AIR INDIA with the tickets purchased from (a) Air India
website or booking counter or (b) through government authorized travel
agents namely Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd., Ashok Travels & Tours and IRCTC.
The
air-fare for such candidates will be restricted to Second
Class (not air-conditioned) return train fare on production of tickets and
boarding passes.
iv. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the
recruitment process to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and
experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Mere fulfilling
