1. INSTALLING AND COMMISSIONING

1.1. Mounting the control panel
Select a dry location close to an un-switched AC power supply, with a good earth connection. If the system is to be monitored by a central station and/or if it is intended to transmit
voice messages, the location must be close to a telephone line.
Mount the cabinet securely on the wall with 4 screws. Lay all the system cables into the cabinet, through one of the holes especially made for this purpose on the rear side of the
metal case. Prepare the cables for connections.

1.2. Mounting the Keypad

The keypad must be located close to the designated entry/exit door and mounted at a convenient height for all users.
Open the keypad case and mount the back plate on the wall. Insert the keypad wires inside the keypad and prepare them for connection.

1.3. Wiring
Note: Complete all wiring to the control panel before applying battery or AC power.

Wiring should be performed according to the general mounting diagram bellow:

2. SYSTEM PARAMETERS PROGRAMMING (main programming menu)

In order to enter the programming menu of system parameters (main programming menu), the installer should use the command
[*][8][Installers programming code], while the system is partially armed.
Notes:
1.

The default value of the installers programming code is 0269 and it should be changed before or after the system parameters were programmed.

2.

All programming sections are dedicated to the installer and only some of them are accessible to the master user, too.

3.

If the digital communicator will be enabled by programming and the corresponding reporting codes will be programmed, too, then any accessing of main programming menu by the
installer (or by the master user) will be transmitted to CS, as follows:
-

In case of any 4x2 formats will be set by programming, the control panel will transmit to CS the same specific reporting codes regarding programming entry / programming exit /
panel programming changed events, which will be set in [61] and [62] sections, even the respective operations will be performed by the installer or by the master user (whether these
operations are performed by the installer or by the master user, there will be no difference between them in 4x2 formats).

In case of CID format will be set by programming, the control panel will transmit to CS the specific reporting codes regarding programming entry / programming exit / panel
programming changed, which will be set in [72] and [73] sections; after the 4-digit group specific to these reporting events the panel will transmit to CS another 3-digit group which
stands for master user or for installer identifying. In CID format the installer will be identified as user 000 and the master user as user 001.

System programming parameters are explained bellow.

To enter the programming menu of system parameters (main programming menu), follow the next steps:
1. Enter the command: [*][8][Installers programming code];
After entering the installers programming code, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps, confirming the system is being within main programming
menu. Depending on the keypad that you are using for the prorgamming procedure, there are 2 distinct situations for conforming the entrance in the
main programming menu, as follows:
Case A: keypad model KP-126P (LED keypad): While the system is being within main programming menu, the ARMED A LED is ON, SYSTEM LED is OFF and all the
other status LEDs (ARMED B, READY A, READY B and BYPASS) are OFF.
Case B: keypad model KP-612LCD or KP-612LCLD (LCD keypads): While the system is being within
main programming menu, on the screen you will see:

Choice Sect:

Note: The main programming menu can be exited by [#] key pressing. When exiting the main programming menu, the system will go back within disarmed status and the keypad
LEDs will display the system and zone status.

2. In order to program the system parameters, you should select one of the sections from [01] to [99].
While the system is being within main programming menu, in order to enter each section, you should enter 2-digit order number of the respective
section, by entering the 2 digits corresponding to the section number (i.e. for section no. 7 enter [0] and [7] keys).
After entering the 2 digits corresponding to the section number, the keypad buzzer will beep for 3 times, confirming the system is being within respective
section. On the KP-126P keypad, the status LEDs will be ARMED A - ON, SYSTEM - blinking, READY A - ON, READY B OFF, BYPASS OFF and
zone 1 LED ON, OFF or blinking, and zone LEDs 2 to 12 ON or OFF, according to the selected section.

2.1 Each programming section has got one or several programming submenus.
Once any programming section was selected, the system finds itself within 1-st submenu of the programming section (which may be a single one) and
within submenus the system is waiting for some specific data to be entered from the keypad. After a complete data set, specific to each submenu, was
entered, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps and the system will pass to the next submenu of the programming section. After a complete
data set, specific to the last submenu was entered, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the system will go back within main
programming menu.
Within some submenus or programming sections, the specific data are as option, attribute or rights types; the status of these options (or
attributes) is displayable on 1 to 8 LEDs (on KP-126P) or in clear message (only for KP-612LCD or KP-612LCDL). In order to turn these options (or
attributes, or rights) activate/deactivate, you should press [1] to [8] keys and the corresponding Zone LEDs will turn ON/OFF (on KP-126P) or you will
see the new value in clear text (only on KP-612LCD or KP-612LCDL). As for the LED keypads, if the corresponding zone LED is ON means the
respective option (or attribute/right) is activated and, if the corresponding zone LED is OFF means the respective option (or attribute/right) is deactivated.
Finally, to confirm the option, attribute or rights data and pass to the next submenu (or go back within main programming menu), the installer must
press [#] key.
Remark: Certain sections may require entries of HEX digits. To enter these HEX-values, press [*] key followed by a number from 0 to 5, according to the table below:

2.2 While the system is being within any submenu of each programming section, modifying of that parameters can be canceled by [#] key
pressing; the system will pass to the next submenu.
3. While the system is being within main programming menu, in order to program/modify another set of parameters within another
programming section, you should start the procedure from step no. 2.
4. Finally, in order to exit the main programming menu, you should press [#] key.
Note: The control panel is programmed to leave any programming menu automatically 2 minutes after the last key pressing. Thus, 2 minutes after the keypad was last worked with,
the system will exit that submenu automatically, passing within next submenu or on the next programming level, as if [#] key is pressed. Each time when the system passes automatically from
one submenu to the next, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps. In case that submenu is the last one within any programming section, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation
beeps and the system will go back within main programming menu. In case the system stays within main programming menu more than 2 minutes since the keypad was last worked with,
then the system will go back within disarmed status.

These zone types are usually used for entry/exit detections. The zones can be violated during the exit delay without causing an
alarm. Once the system/partition is armed, first violation of these zones will start the appropriate entry-delay timer. The user must
[01]
Type zone: Zxx
Delayed 1
disarm the system/partition before the appropriate entry-delay timer elapses or the system will generate an alarm. If a delayed zone
triggers the alarm, the system or the appropriate partition will switch to an instant working mode which will be signaled by a fast
blinking of the corresponding ARMED LED.
There are 2 entry-delay timers:
the entry delay 1 timer which applies to all zones defined as type of delayed 1 and
[02]
Type zone: Zxx
Delayed 2
The entry delay 2 timer which applies to all zones defined as type of delayed 2.
Entry delay 1, delay 2 and exit delay times may be independently set from 1 to 255 seconds within [36] and [37] sections.
The default settings are 30 seconds for each entry delay time and 60 seconds for each exit delay time.
This zone type is usually used for interior detection devices, such as motion detectors. The zone will not cause an alarm if it is
[03]
Type zone: Zxx
Follower
violated during the entry delay of the respective partition. However, if the zone is violated before the entry delay has started it will
generate an instant alarm. The follower zone can be violated during the exit delay without causing an alarm.
This zone type is used for interior detection devices, such as motion detectors that are not situated within entry/exit area. The
[04]
Type zone: Zxx
Instant
instant zones can be violated during the exit delay without causing an alarm, too, but once the system/partition is armed, the zones
will generate an instant alarm if they are violated (they will trigger the alarm as soon as they are violated).
The 24-hour burglary zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed system/partition status. This zone type is
[05]
Type zone: Zxx

useful for connection of glass-break detectors.
The sabotage (tamper) zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed system/partition status. This type is used
[10]
Type zone: Zxx
Tamper
for connection of tamper contacts in the system to prevent any sabotage attempt after the system installation and commissioning.
The panic zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed system/partition status. This type is used for
[11]
Type zone: Zxx
Panic
connection of panic switchers/pedals for a specific event to occur in emergency situations that can be reported to a CS.
The fire zones are permanently active irrespective of the armed or disarmed system/partition status. This type is used for smoke

zone type is violated more than 4 seconds, then it will generate a panic alarm, too.
If the guardian rounds were started previously, any violation of this zone type will make the siren sound for the ding time defined
[16]
Type zone: Zxx
Round
in section [42].If this zone type is activated more than 30 seconds, then it will generate a special event (ambush on round), too, if
the guardian rounds were started previously. No alarm will occur by violation of this zone type.
Note: any violation of the tamper, panic, fire and medical emergency zone types will produce:
1.

Specific code reporting to the central station, if the digital communicator is enabled by programming and the appropriate reporting codes are programmed, too.

2.

Specific voice messages reporting to the follow me phone numbers which are programmed, if the voice/sound dialer is properly programmed.

Instead of entering a new value for the zone type, by pressing the [#] key, the previous selected type of the zone can be maintained.
After the 2-digit group corresponding to the selected zone type was entered (or after [#] key pressing), the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation
beeps and the panel will pass to the next step, displaying the ATTRIBUTES1 set on 1 to 8 LEDs (on KP-126P) or as described in the following tabel, on the
screen of the KP-612LCD or KP-612LCDL keypads.

By [#] key pressing, ATTRIBUTES1 set can be maintained as it was previously established.
First set of zone attributes are detailed in the table below. In order to establish the ATTRIBUTES1 set, you should press 1 to 8 keys. After each key

Attribute 4:

When a zone allows manually bypassing it will allow to be bypassed by one of the commands: [*][3][User code] or [BYPASS][User Code].
Note: By default this attribute is enabled for all 1 to 12 zones.
During the same armed period (or during the same disarming period for 24h zones) the control panel will automatically bypass (from swinger) any zone which allows autoshutdown and after the zone initiate a number of consecutive alarms equal with swinger shutdown counter. After that the zone will no longer generate an alarm. After the
control panel has bypassed a zone from swinger, it will report an event code to the central station, if it is programmed within 55 and 66 sections.
This feature is a function of the zone restores option (see [32] section). During the same armed period (or during the same disarming period for 24h zones) the zone will be
bypassed from swinger only:

After the siren has cut-off consecutive times, for a number equal with swinger shutdown counter, if zone restore event is set to occur upon bell cut-off;

After the zone has violated and closed back for a number equal with swinger shutdown counter, if zone restore event is set to occur upon zone closure.

10

Thus, during the same armed period (or during the same disarming period for 24h zones), a zone which allows auto shutdown will trigger:

A maximum alarm number equal with swinger shutdown counter established in [41] section, if zone restore event is set to occur upon zone closure;

A maximum number of siren timer triggering equal with swinger shutdown counter established in [41] section, if zone restore event is set to occur upon bell
cut-off; please note that in this case, if the report only first zone alarm option is disabled, too, such a zone may record more alarms than swinger shutdown
counter.

Note: By default this attribute is disabled for all 1 to 12 zones.

Attribute 5:

When a zone allows forced arming, it will allow system/partition arming although the zone is being violated at the very moment of arming (i.e. the system can be armed even
though the PIR detector nearby the keypad detects movement when arming).
Note: By default this attribute is disabled for all 1 to 12 zones.

Attribute 6:

When a zone has the chime attribute enabled, then wile the system is disarmed and the chime feature was activated previously by the command [*][6], any opening of
the zone will make the keypad buzzer to sound for 6 warning beeps.
Note: By default this attribute is enabled only for zone 1.

Attribute 7:

When a zone has the stay attribute enabled, then it is an interior zone and will be automatically bypassed by the system during home arming (stay arming or instant stay
arming modes).
Note: By default this attribute is set such as all 1 to 12 zones to be perimeter type.

Attribute 8:

ZONE SPEED: The zone speed applies to all zones whether the system is armed or disarmed. The zone speed defines how quickly the control panel will respond to an open
zone. The control panel will not display and/or respond to an open zone until the programmed zone speed elapses. All other zone definitions and options do not come into
effect until the zone speed has elapsed. The zone speed can be set either 50ms (fast detection) or 300ms (slow detection). This feature prevents any momentary glitches in
the system from causing an alarm or unnecessary reporting.
Note: By default this attribute is set such as the detection speed to be set as slow for all 1 to 12 zones.

After the ATTRIBUTES1 set for selected zone was established to the required values, press [#] key to confirm.
After [#] key was pressed, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps and the panel will pass to the next step.
By [#] key pressing, ATTRIBUTES2 set can be maintained as it was previously established.
The second set of zone attributes are detailed in the table below. In order to establish the ATTRIBUTES2 set, you should press 1 to 8 keys.
After each key pressing the appropriate attribute is enabled or disabled

All the second set of attributes are presented below:

Attribute 1:

Attribute 2:

If an alarm condition occurs on a zone identified as intellizone, the control panel will trigger a timer and will not generate an alarm until one of the following conditions occurs
within the Intellizone Time Window:
a) An alarm condition occurs on another zone identified as intellizone during intellizone time delay,
b) The zone that is in alarm has restored and the alarm re-occurred during intellizone time delay or the zone that is in alarm remains in alarm the entire intellizone time delay.
Notes:
1. Intellizone timer will only begin after the zone speed period has elapsed;
2. By default this attribute is disabled for all 1 to 12 zones.
When a zone has the sensor under test attribute enabled, it will no longer trigger the alarm, but each opening/closing of the zone loop will record a special event into the 800event LOG. Each opening of any under test zone will record in the specially alarm memory, too, which is keypad displayable in section [94], if these zones was violated in the
system since the last resetting of the especially alarm memory, performed by installer.
If these zones allow auto shutdown, then during the same arming period (or during the same disarming period for 24h zones), then swinger shutdown will be counting the
restoration numbers of this zone which was violated. In case the number of restorations gets the swinger shutdown counter value, the respective zone will be automatic
bypassed from swinger. Only this event will be transmitted to the central station.

Attribute 3:
Attribute 4:
Attribute 5:
Attribute 6:

Note: By default this attribute is disabled for all 1 to 12 zones.

Chose the contacts type (NC or NO) in accordance with the normally closed or open contacts of your detection devices which are connected on the zone input terminals.
Note: By default this attribute is set such as the contacts type to be set as NC (normally closed) for all 1 to 12 zones.
Enable this feature if your security installation requires tamper recognition on some zone input terminals (see zone connections).
Note: By default this feature is disabled for all 1 to 6 hardware zones.
Enable this feature for zone input terminals which the system requires the use of end of line resistor (see zone connections).
Note: By default this feature is enabled for all 1 to 6 hardware zones (all 1 to 6 hardware zones use EOL resistors).
Advanced technology zone (ATZ) connections allow you to install two detection devices per input terminal, therefore, doubling zone capacity of the control panel.
Advanced technology zoning is a software-oriented feature, there is no need for extra modules, simply install the devices as shown in the sections of zone connections and the
control panel will recognize the installed devices as shown there. The extra zones function exactly like any other zone displaying zone status on the keypad and sending
separate alarm codes for each zone.
Note: By default this feature is disabled for all 1 to 6 hardware zones.

Attribute 7:

ATZ wiring type: series or parallel connection (see instalation manual for details on that)

After the ATTRIBUTES2 set for selected zone was established to the required values, press [#] key to confirm.
After [#] key was pressed, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps and the panel will pass to the next step, displaying the ATTRIBUTES3 set.

By [#] key pressing, ATTRIBUTES3 set can be maintained as it was previously established.

NOTES:
1.

For some zone types only the default value of some attributes are allowed;

2.

0 = for that zone type the default value for respective attribute is allowed only disabled status (is allowed only the OFF status of corresponding LED - see zone ATTRIBUTE1
and ATTRIBUTE2 sets). That means: once the 2-digit group corresponding to some zone type was entered, if one try to put respective attribute in the enabled status (is pressing the
corresponding key to turn ON the corresponding LED), then the keypad buzzer will sound a long error beep and the panel will reject the command.

3.

1 = for that zone type the default value for respective attribute is allowed only enabled status (is allowed only the ON status of corresponding LED - see zone ATTRIBUTE1
and ATTRIBUTE2 sets). That means: once the 2-digit group standing for some zone type was entered, if one try to put respective attribute in the disabled status (is pressing the
corresponding key to turn OFF the corresponding LED), then the keypad buzzer will sound a long error beep and the panel will reject the command.

4.

= the value set by programming for respective attribute is available for corresponding zone type

Remarks:
1.

A fire zone will trigger only the audible alarm, with pulsing siren.

2.

No attributes could be set as active for an unused zone.

3.

The stay and chime attributes could not be set as active for zone type of: 24h burglary, fire, tamper, panic, medical emergency and keyswitch/panic.

4.

The intellizone could not be set as active for zone type of: entry delayed 1, entry delayed 2 and keyswitch/panic.

After setting these options, press [#] key to confirm. The keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the [31] programming section, waiting for a new
command to enter another section or [#] key to exit the main programming menu.
Remarks:
1.

When the control panel is dialing any phone number, it will dial in pulse or DTMF mode, according to the way the respective option was set (OPT 1 is ON or OFF).

2.

The control panel checks the dialing line tone, waiting 4 seconds for that. If it cannot detect the line tone, will dial blind .. For the next call, the procedure will be repeated.

3.

If voice/sound dialer answers to the remote interrogation calls and/or panel answers to remote PC calls options are enabled, then the second option in this section establish the
way in which the control panel will automatic answer to the remote calls.
3.1 The control panel recognizes if the call is made by a modem for upload/download or is a voice call for current system status interrogation.
3.2 In case double call option is set in this section the numbers of rings programmed in section [39] will no longer be considered.

27

3.3 If double call option is set, then for control panel to answer to remote PC calls and/or to the remote interrogation calls, the following conditions should met the following
conditions:

4.

The first remote call of the panel must have at least 2 rings;

The second remote call of the panel should occur after at least 10s since the first call ended, but not later than 60 seconds since the end of the first call, otherwise the second call will be
ignored. On the second call the control panel will automatically answer after the second ring.
TELEPHONE LINE MONITORING (TLM):
a)
When this feature is enabled by programming, the panel will check the existence of telephone line once every 4 seconds, except during any phone line communication and every time
when the panel is detecting an incoming call; during these 2 actions and 30 seconds after them the telephone line monitoring is stopped.
b)
An effective phone line test failure occurs only if for at least 30 seconds the panel doesnt detect the existence of telephone line and this trouble is restored only if the panel will detect
again the telephone line for at least 30 seconds, too.
c)

These events (phone line trouble and phone line trouble restore) are recorded into the 800-event LOG, but they are not reported to the central stations.

d)
Once the phone line trouble (TLT) is recorded, this trouble condition will be displayed on zone 6 LED within system trouble displaying menu - [*][4] command, and the keypads will
signal it by keypad trouble buzzer warnings and by blinking of the SYSTEM LED.
e)
Tow types for PGM1 to PGM6 outputs are included phone line trouble status and pulse on phone line trouble which goes to ON status once the phone line test is failing;
the first type of PGM will turn OFF when this trouble is restored and the second type of PGM will turn OFF after the pulse time established by programming within [22] and [43] sections.
f)

In order to generate one or more actions when the telephone line test fails, two options were included in this section as follows:

Notes:
1.

There is safe to switch between alternate and split reporting modes, even during the panel transmitting to CS, but switching format types between Contact ID and 4x2 formats is still
recommended to be performed without any active CS transmission.

2.

In case the reporting to CS is programmed in this section as alternate, for control panel to initiate CS reporting, at least one CS phone number must be programmed in [74]
and/or [75] sections. If 1-st CS phone number is programmed in section [74], the control panel will first try to report any event to this phone number. After the control panel takes the
phone line over for CS transmitting, it will wait 25 seconds for handshake receiving from CS (1-st CS phone number dialing is included). In case 1-st CS phone number doesnt answer and, if
the 2-nd CS phone number is programmed in section [75], the control panel will try to report the events to the 2-nd CS phone number. After the control panel takes control of the telephone
line, again, it will wait for another 25 seconds to receive handshake from CS (2-nd CS phone number dialing is included). If neither 1st CS nor the 2-nd CS phone number answer, the panel will
have a 32 seconds rest time and then will repeat the same procedure for up to 8 times on each of both phone numbers. So, in case of alternate reporting, if no CS phone number answers,
the calling sequence is the following:
[25 seconds: 1-st CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][25 seconds: 2-nd CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32 seconds][25 seconds: 1st
CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][25 seconds: 2-nd CS phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32 seconds] and so on for up to 8 times on
each of both phone numbers.

Please note, if any of the CS phone numbers is not programmed, the dialing of the respective phone number will be skipped.
If even after the 8 attempts for both CS phone numbers no central station answers, the control panel will record a CS1 and CS2 communication failed event into the 800-event LOG and a
specific reporting code into the CS 80-event internal buffer, too. In the meantime, while this trouble condition appears, the SYSTEM LED will start blinking and the appropriate within system
trouble displaying menu - [*][4] command information will be displayed. If this trouble condition occurred for the first time, and the warning tones are enabled, the keypad will sound intermittent
beeps, every 8 seconds, until the users will acknowledge the trouble by means of [*][4] command, or until system/partition arming. So, as soon as the users had acknowledged the troubles by
means of [*][4] command, the keypad trouble buzzer warnings will stop, as there are no troubles in the system, but the SYSTEM LED will still remain blinking (and the proper information will be
displayed within system trouble displaying menu) until a successful transmitting to the central station accomplishes. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the communication with CS is
established, the entire list from CS internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication reporting code, which is already in the list, will be reported all
together to the CS
3.

In case the reporting to CS is programmed in this section as split (or double), the panel will report to the central stations as follows:
If 1-st CS phone number is programmed in section [74], the control panel will first try to report to this phone number any event to be reported to CS1, selected in section
[33]. After the control panel takes the phone line over for CS1 transmitting, it will wait 25 seconds for handshake receiving from CS1 (1-st CS phone number dialing is included).
In case 1-st CS phone number doesnt answer, the panel will make a pause of 32 seconds and then will dial the phone number and wait again for 25 seconds to receive
handshake; if again the phone number doesnt answer, the panel will make again a pause of 32 seconds and the procedure will be repeated up to 8 times.

Please note that even there in section [33] are events selected to be reported to CS1, if in section [74] the 1-st CS phone number isnt programmed, the control panel will not initiate reporting to
CS1 and will not record events into the CS1 80-event internal buffer anymore.
If even after the 8 attempts the 1-st central station doesnt answer (the control panel failed to report the events to CS1), then the control panel will record a CS1 communication failed event into
the 800-event LOG and a specific reporting code into the CS1 80-event internal buffer, too. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the communication with CS1 is established, the entire list
from CS internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication reporting code, which is already in the list, will be reported together to the CS1. In the
same time, if an event of CS1 communication failed occurred in the system, the specific reporting code will be recorded into the CS2 80-event internal buffer and will be transmitted to CS2, too.
This trouble condition will turn the SYSTEM LED blinking and the zone 3 LED ON, within system trouble displaying menu - [*][4] command. If this trouble condition occurred for first time, then the
keypad trouble buzzer warnings will be activated, too, and the keypad will emit intermittent beeps, at every 8 seconds, until the users will acknowledge the trouble by means of [*][4] command,
or until system/partition arming. So, as soon as the users had acknowledged the troubles by means of [*][4] command, the keypad trouble buzzer warnings will stop, as there are no troubles in
the system, but the SYSTEM LED will still remain blinking (and the zone 3 LED will still remain ON within system trouble displaying menu) until a successful transmitting to both CS1 and CS2.
After a successful or failed reporting to CS1, if 2-nd CS phone number is programmed in section [75], then the control panel will try to report to this phone number any event to be reported
to CS2. After the control panel takes the phone line over for CS2 transmitting, it will wait 25 seconds for handshake receiving from CS2 (2-nd CS phone number dialing is included). In case 2-nd CS
phone number doesnt answer, the panel will make a pause of 32 seconds and then will dial the phone number and wait again for 25 seconds to receive handshake; if again the phone number
doesnt answer, the panel will make again a pause of 32 seconds and the procedure will be repeated up to 8 times.

29

Please note that even there in section [33] are events selected to be reported to CS2, if in section [75] the 2-nd CS phone number isnt programmed, the control panel will not initiate reporting to
CS2 and will not record events into the CS2 80-event internal buffer anymore.
If even after the 8 attempts the 2-nd central station doesnt answer (the control panel failed to report the events to CS2), then the control panel will record a CS2 communication failed event into
the 800-event LOG and a specific reporting code into the CS2 80-event internal buffer, too. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the communication with CS2 is established, the entire list
from CS internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication reporting code, which is already in the list, will be reported together to the CS2. In the
same time, if an event of CS2 communication failed occurred in the system, the specific reporting code will be recorded into the CS1 80-event internal buffer and will be transmitted to CS1, too.
So, as soon as the users had acknowledged the troubles by means of [*][4] command, the keypad trouble buzzer warnings will stop, as there are no troubles in
the system, (and the zone 3 LED will still remain ON within system trouble displaying menu) until a successful transmitting to both CS1 and CS2.
So, if both phone numbers are programmed in [74] and [75] sections and none of them answers, then the calling sequence is the following:

4.

[25 seconds: CS1 phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32 seconds][25 seconds: CS1 phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32
seconds]... and so on up to 8 times for 1-st CS phone number and then

[25 seconds: CS2 phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32 seconds][25 seconds: CS2 phone number dialing and waiting for handshake][pause of 32
seconds]... and so on up to 8 times for 2-nd CS phone number.

Within zone restore denomination there is an event which is referring to the recording moment into the 800-event LOG and to the reporting moment to CS, as follows:

For audible zones which triggered the alarm and then their loops closed back, the zone restore event can be set to occur either upon zone closure or upon bell cut-off;

For audible zones which triggered the alarm and their loops remain open even after the bell cut-off, the zone restore event will occur upon zone closure, regardless of zone
restore option programming.

For all silent zones the zone restore event will occur only upon zone closure, regardless of zone restore option programming.

Report only first zone alarm is a function of the zone restores option, too. If the zone restore event is set to occur upon bell cut-off and this option is set as enabled, then, for any
audible zone the control panel will consider only first zone violation, which triggers the siren timer (once the zone made the alarm sound and then its loop closes and opens for several
times, it will no longer record alarms into the 800-event LOG and/or into the first 9 alarm memory while siren is sounding).
Considering that during one siren activation period only first violation of each audible zone will trigger the siren timer, for any zone which allows auto shutdown, during the same
arming period (or during the same disarming period for 24h zones), there are 2 situations regarding the zone restore events and auto shutdown:

4.1

if zone restore event is set to occur upon zone closure, then the maximum alarm number which can be recorded by such a zone, will be equal with swinger shutdown
counter, even though these alarms occur during one siren activation period or that zone itself will trigger the siren timer for more times, when it gets violated.

If zone restore event is set to occur upon bell cut-off, then the maximum number of siren timer triggering which can be performed by such a zone will be equal with
swinger shutdown counter. Please note that if report only first zone alarm is disabled, too, such a zone may record more alarms than swinger shutdown counter; this is
possible because once the zone made the alarm sound and then its loop closes and opens for several times it will keep recording alarms into the 800-event LOG and/or into the first 9
alarm memory while siren is sounding, but zone restore event will occur only upon bell cut-off.

This is happening because the panel is counting the zone restore events for any zone which allows auto shutdown and the zone will bypass from swinger only after the
number of zone restorations gets to the swinger shutdown counter.

Notes:
1.

If first option in this section is set as enabled, then, upon occurring in the system of some alarm events, the control panel will automatic initiate the reporting on the phone line of
these events and the system status, too, by voice messages or by synthesis sounds, specific to these events.

2.

An additional condition should be met for control panel to automatic initiate the voice/sound reporting on the phone line: at least one of the 4 follow me phone numbers should be
programmed (see programming/selective erasure sessions of the 1 to 4 follow me phone numbers, accessible to the master user by means of one of [*][7][Master Code][5X][Phone
number X][#] or [CODE][Master Code][5X][Phone number X][#] commands) .

3.

If second option in this section is set as enabled, then the same condition should be met for AC power loss event to automatic initiate the voice/sound reporting on the phone line:
at least one of the 4 follows me phone numbers should be programmed.

31

4.

If third option in this section is set as enabled, then the control panel will answer to the remote interrogation calls (either after double call or after the programmed number of rings)
and it will report the system status by specific voice messages or by specific synthesis sounds.

5.

If the control panel automatic answers to the remote calls for system status interrogation, then it will report on the phone line the voice message or synthesis sounds specific to the AC
power loss event, even if this event hasnt yet initiated the transmission to the central station or the voice/sound dialer hasnt yet start the voice/sound reporting to the follow me phone
numbers.

6.

The control panel can report (upon remote interrogation calls and to the follow me phone numbers, too) up to 8 voice messages only when there it is using the MPV8 voice module; voice
messages are specific to alarms on 1 to 8 1zones.

7.

In case there is no MPV8 voice module on the main board or it was deactivated, the panel will report upon remote interrogation calls or to the follow me phone numbers only by
specific synthesis sounds.

Note: In case both callback required and Panel answers to remote PC calls options are selected, the control panel will answer to PC calls either after double call or after the number
of rings programmed in section [39]. Once the control panel answers to PC calls, the control panel and PC will verify each other the passwords (the control panel and PC identification codes within
upload/download, programmed in sections [91] and [92]) and, if the passwords are correct the control panel and PC will close the phone line. Then, the PC modem automatically will pass into
the auto-answer mode for control panel calls and the control panel will start to dial the PC phone number programmed in section [93]. While the control panel is calling back the PC phone
number the PC modem will take the phone line over and try to communicate with panel. The control panel and PC will verify again each other passwords and, if the passwords are correct, the
communication between the control panel and PC will be activated. If the communication between the control panel and PC was successfully activated, then the keypad buzzer of the system will
sound 6 confirmation beeps. After the control panel dialed the last digit of PC phone number it will wait for 20 seconds for the PC modem to answer. If the communication between the control
panel and PC couldnt be activated during this time the keypad buzzer of the system will sound a long error beep. Next, the control panel will call back again the PC phone number for 2 more
times and the keypad buzzer of the system will sound a long error beep each time the communication between the control panel and the PC could not be activated. Please note that if the digital
communicator is enabled by programming and the corresponding reporting codes - PC connecting/disconnecting - were programmed in the [61] and [72] programming sections, after the first
verifying of the passwords, the control panel will first report these codes to the central station and only then will dial back the PC phone number.

Section [36]: Entry Delay 1/ Entry Delay 2 Timers

While system is within main programming menu, to set the entry delay 1 and 2 timers select section [36] and then enter 2 groups of 3 digits each (001 to 255 seconds).

, type one 3 digit number

EntryTime A
or

The default entry delay times are both 30 seconds.
[#]

, type one 3 digit number

or

Choice Sect:

After the first 3 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the last 3 digits it will sound 6 beeps; the panel exits the [36] programming section and will wait for a new
command to enter another section.
Press [#] key instead of the 3 corresponding digits if modifying of any timing is no longer desired.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.

32

Example: If the entry delay 1 is to be set to 10 sec. and the entry delay 2 is to be unchanged, enter: |010||#|. After the first 3 digits the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after pressing
the [#] key, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the main programming menu, press
[#] key gain.
Notes:
1.

The entry delay 1 timer applies to all zones defined as delayed 1 type and the entry delay 2 timer applies to all zones defined as delayed 2 type; if partitions were allowed by
programming in the [20] section, each entry delay time applies to the partition which has assigned the respective delayed zones and if partitioning was not allowed, both entry delay times
apply to the system (because all the zones belong to the system in this case..

2.

The entry delay times set the periods of time permitted between the first violation of any delayed zone and the system/partition disarming. Once the system/partition is armed, first
violation of the delayed zones will start the appropriate entry-delay timer, giving to the user enough time to enter the premise and to disarm the system totally or partially. The user must
disarm the system/partition before the appropriate entry-delay timer elapses or the system will generate an alarm. If a delayed zone triggers the alarm, the system or the appropriate
partition will switch to an instant working mode which will be signaled by a fast blinking of the corresponding ARMED LED (the alarm was once triggered by a delayed zone and all the zones
usually of delayed type will respond as instant type in the respective partition).

3.

For the entry delay 1 and 2 timers any value from 000 to 999 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced value by modulo 256 and will record the result
in memory as programmed value. If the result of adjustment is 0 (the entry delay is set at 0), then the zone which is usually of delayed type will respond as instant type and will trigger
the alarm once it is violated. So, when any user enters the protected area through the delayed zone to disarm the system/partition, unexpected alarms will be triggered by this zone!

Section [37]: Exit Delay 1/ Exit Delay 2 Timers

While system is within main programming menu, to set the entry delay 1 and 2 timers select section [37] and then enter 2 groups of 3 digits each (001 to 255 seconds).

ExitTime A
060

, type one 3 digit number

or
[#]

, type one 3 digit number

or
[#]

ExitTime B
060

The default exit delay times are both 60 seconds.

Choice Sect:

After the first 3 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the last 3 digits it will sound 6 beeps; the panel exits the section and will wait for a new command to enter
another section.
Press [#] key instead of the 3 corresponding digits if modifying of any timing is no longer desired.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
After entering the required arming sequence (i.e. any valid user code entering), the exit delay parameters determine the amount of times a user has to leave the protected area
before the panel arms the partition (or the entire system).
Example: If the exit delay 1 is to be set to 20 sec. and the exit delay 2 is to be unchanged, enter: |020||#|. After the first 3 digits the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after [#] key, the
keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key gain.
Notes:
1.

For the exit delay timers any value from 000 to 999 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced value by modulo 256 and will record the result in memory
as programmed value. If the result of adjustment is 0, then the appropriate exit time is 0 and after any valid user code entering for system/partition arming may cause
unexpected alarms!

2.

Each exit delay time applies to all zones in the selected partition as follows:
-

If partitions were allowed by programming in [20] section, then the exit delay 1 applies to all zones in the first partition and the exit delay 2 applies to all zones in the second
partition;

If partitioning were not allowed by programming in [20] section, then the exit delay 1 applies to all zones in the system and the exit delay 2 will be no longer considerate by the
panel.

Section [38]: Burglary / Fire siren Timers

These timings (burglary siren timer and fire siren timer) establish siren activation timings in case of any fire alarms and audible burglary alarms respectively will occur in the
system.
While the system is being within main programming menu, to set the burglary/fire siren timers, select section [38] and enter 2 groups of 2 digits each (01 to 99 minutes
for each timer).
While system is within main programming menu, to set the entry delay 1 and 2 timers select section [36] and then enter 2 groups of 3 digits each (001 to 255 seconds).

Choice Sect:

After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the next 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for
a new command to enter another section.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
Example 1: One may want to program the burglary siren timer at 3 minutes, without modifying the fire siren timer. In this case enter |03||#|. After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will
sound 3 beeps and after [#] key, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the main
programming menu, press [#] key.
Example 2: One may want to program the burglary siren timer at 2 minutes and the fire siren timer at 10 minutes. In this case enter |02||10|. After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will
sound 3 beeps and after the next 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the
main programming menu, press [#] key.
Notes:
1.

A fire alarm may be triggered by a fire zone type or from the keypad by simultaneously pressing of [7] and [9] keys. Because any fire alarm are only as audible and pulsing type, the
fire siren timer is triggered every time when a fire alarm is triggered;

2.

The burglary siren timer is triggered by any other zone types (differed of fire) or from the keypad (by pressing [*]+[#] or [1]+[3]), only if the alarm triggered by the respective zone
types (or by special commands from keypad [*]+[#] and [1]+[3]) are audible (they activates the siren, too);

3.

Once any audible zone activated the siren and triggered the burglary siren timer (or fire siren timer), then that zone will not retrigger any more this -siren timer each time it will get
violated, but that zone will keep recording alarms in the first 9 alarm memory and into the 800-event LOG as well. At the same time, the control panel will send the respective alarm codes
(and/or voice messages) to the central station (and/or to the programmed follow me phone numbers by voice/sound dialer) each time that zone gets violated. If another audible zone is
violated while the siren was previously started, then the siren timer will be retriggered again, but during one siren activation period only first violation of each audible zone will retrigger
this timings. That means if a zone triggered the siren timer once and then, during the same siren activation period, its loop closes and opens for several times, then that zone will not
trigger again the siren timer, but it will keep recording alarms in the first 9 alarm memory and into the 800-event LOG as well. Then, when the siren stops sounding, another violation of
the same audible zones will make again siren sounding and siren timer triggering.

4.

For the burglary siren timer and fire siren timer you can set even the value 00. Dont program the value 00 for burglary siren timer and fire siren timer because the siren
will no longer activate upon the burglary and fire alarms!

Section [39]: Transmission Delay upon AC power loss (00 to 99 minutes) / Number of rings (01 to 99 rings)
While system is being within main programming menu, in order to establish the transmission delay upon AC power loss (01 to 99 minutes) and the number of rings, you have
to select section [39] and then enter 2 groups of 2 digits.

Choice Sect:

The transmission delay upon AC power (220Vac) loss is the time lapse after which the control panel will transmit this event to the central station (or the time lapse after which the
control panel starts the voice/sound transmitting of the event). If meanwhile the AC power is restored, the event reporting code and the voice message, too, are no longer
transmitted.
Ring number is the number of rings after that the control panel answers to the remote calls, the remote interrogation calls and/or the remote PC calls.
After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the next 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section,
waiting for a new command to enter another section.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
Notes:
1.

If transmission delay upon AC power loss was set at 00, then the panel will transmit this event to the central station once it occurred (or the panel starts the voice/sound transmitting of
the event once it occurred).

2.

The ring number programmed in this section is no longer considered in case double call option is set in section [35].

Section [40]: Intellizone Time Window

Enter 3 digits (001 to 255 seconds) in order to set the Intellizone Time Window.

Choice Sect:

The keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps after the 3-digit group and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
Note: For the Intellizone Time Window any value from 000 to 999 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced value by modulo 256 and will record the result in
memory as programmed value. If the result of adjustment is 0, then there will be no Intellizone Time Window and all zones in the system will respond as normal, even for some of them
their intellizone attribute were set as enabled!

Section [41]: Swinger Shutdown Counter / Keypad Lockout Counter

In order to establish the swinger shutdown counter and keypad lockout counter, enter 2 groups of 2 digits (0 to 15), the first 2-digit group being the swinger shutdown counter
and the second 2-digit group being the keypad lockout counter.

Choice Sect:

The keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps after each 2-digit group and 6 beeps after the last one. Then the panel exits the section and will wait for a new command.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
Notes:
1.

If the option of keypad lockout after too many wrong codes was enabled within section [20], then the keypad lockout counter will be counting the successive attempts of entering wrong
access codes. In case the successive attempts of entering wrong access codes gets the value set in this section the keypad will lock for 7 minutes and all the keypad LEDs will fast blink. The
event will be memorized into the 800-event LOG, which can be uploaded and viewed onto PC by EZcom C612 Software and optionally a specific reporting code will be transmitted to CS, too
(if the digital communicator is enabled by programming and the appropriate reporting code is programmed within [58] or [69] section).

2.

For the keypad lockout counter any value from 00 to 99 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced value by modulo 16 and will record the result in memory as
programmed value. If the result of adjustment is 0, then the panel will record the default value of 10.

3.

For any zone which allows auto shutdown the panel is counting the zone restore events and in case the number of zone restores gets the value set in this section, the respective zone will be
automatic bypassed from swinger for that arming period (or for that disarming period for 24h zones) until a new disarming (or arming).

4.

For the swinger shutdown counter any value from 00 to 99 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced value by modulo 16 and will record the result in memory as
programmed value. If the result of adjustment is 0, then the panel will record the default value of 03.

Section [42]: Number of voice or sound dialing sequences / Time of the Voice or Sound Reporting
Enter 2 groups of 2 digits, the first being the number of times the voice message (or the synthesis sounds) will be repeated for programmed phone numbers (01 to 99 sequences) and
the second 2-digit group being the time (01 to 99 seconds) of the voice reporting (or of the synthesis sounds).

Choice Sect:

The keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps after each 2-digit group and 6 beeps after the last one. Then the panel exits the section and will wait for a new command.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
Remark: A voice/sound dialing sequence consists of sending the voice message (or the synthesis sounds) once to each of the programmed phone numbers (up to 4 follow me phone numbers).
After a voice dialing sequence was finished, the control panel will begin the next sequence similarly until the sequence number programmed in this section was over.
Note: For the number of voice/sound dialing sequences and time of the voice/sound reporting you can set even the value 00. Dont program the value 00 for these parameters because
the voice message or the synthesis sounds will no longer be transmitted on the phone line!

Section [43]: Activation times for PGM1 to PGM6 defined as pulse types (001 to 255 seconds or minutes)
Activation times (001 to 255 seconds or minutes) for PGM1 to PGM6 defined as pulse types stand for number of the seconds or minutes, depending of appropriate option programming
in section [22], during which each pulse PGM type will be activated to GND.

Choice Sect:

After the first 3 digits were entered, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and 6 beeps after the last 3 digits. Then the panel exits the section and will wait for a new command.
Press [#] key instead of the corresponding 3-digit group if one of the 6 timings isnt to be modified.
To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
Example: If activation time of PGM1 defined as pulse type is to be set at 10 seconds (or minutes - see section [22]) and activation time of PGM2 defined as pulse type isnt to be modify, enter
|010|[#] keys. After the 3-digit group was entered, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after [#] key was entered, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits
the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the main programming menu, press [#] key.
Notes:
1.

These pulse durations are individually programmable in [22] and [43] sections for all PGMs, in seconds or minutes for each PGM and they establish the activation time for all following
PGM outputs defined as pulse types: pulse after exit delay, pulse on arming, pulse on disarming, courtesy light, pulse on siren troubles, retriggerable mono-stable and resetable
mono-stable.

2.

Because in section [22] the default appropriate options establish activation times to be in seconds, the default activation time for each PGM1 to PGM6 is 2 seconds.

3.

For each activation time of PGMs defined as pulse type, any value from 000 to 999 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced value by modulo 256 and will record the result in
memory as programmed value. If any result of adjustment is 0, then the respective PGM defined as any pulse types will activate only for 1 second or for 1 minute!

Section [44]: Installers Programming Code Changing

While the control panel is within main programming menu, to modify the installers programming code select section [44] and then enter the
following sequence:
[x][x][x][x]
where
1.

(or [x][x][x][x][x][x] for 6-digit codes)

Installer Code
0269

[x][x][x][x] and [x][x][x][x][x][x] are the new 4 or 6 digits for installers programming code, by default 0269 or 026900.
[#] key pressing may skip installers programming code changing.

For KP-126P (LED keypad) programming you can have these situations:
2.1. After entering the first digit of a new sequence for installers programming code the zone 2 LED will be blinking. That means the control panel is waiting for second
digit for new value of the installers programming code.
2.2. After entering second digit of the installers programming code the zone 3 LED will be blinking. That means the control panel is waiting for third digit for new value
of the installers programming code and so on, until entering the last digit of the installers programming code (the forth for 4-digit codes and the sixth for 6-digit codes).
2.3. After any digit was pressed, Installers Programming Code Changing may be canceled by [#] key pressing. After cancellation by [#] key pressing, the keypad
buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps, the system will keep the old value for installers programming code and the control panel will go back within main programming menu.

36

Note: Do not enter [*] key while entering the digits of the installers programming code! The keypad buzzer will sound a long error beep and will reject [*] key.

After entering the last digit of the installers programming code the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the control panel will go back within
main programming menu.

3.

Notes:
Erasing of the installers programming code isnt allowed. If, by mistake, installer is trying to erase the installers programming code (by entering of [*] key instead of sequence of 4 or
6 digits while the control panel just entered section [44]), the keypad buzzer will sound a long error beep and will exit the main programming menu. The control panel will keep the old value
for installers programming code.
The default 6 digit codes are 123400 for master code and 026900 for installers programming code.
Attention! If you program a 6-digit code, the control panel will memorize the 5-th and 6-th digits as they were programmed. So, the control panel doesnt reset the 5-th and the 6-th digit of the
codes at successive switches between 4-digit codes and 6-digit codes and the other way round.
Have in mind! After completing the alarm system installation and programming, you should:
1.

Change the value of the installers programming code;

2.

Keep the installers programming code safely for a subsequent use, especially if the reset to default lockout option will be set as enabled within [20] section.

Section [45]: Programming of the Installers Maintenance Code

While the control panel is being within main programming menu, to modify the installers maintenance code select section [45] and then
enter the following sequence:
[x][x][x][x](or [x][x][x][x][x][x] for 6-digit codes)

1.

Maintenance Code
Unprogrammed

Programming/erasing of the maintenance code may be skipped by [#] key pressing.

1.1 After [#] key pressing, if the maintenance code was programmed during a previous programming session, then the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps
and the system will pass to display the first 5 rights of the maintenance code (step no. 3).
1.2 After [#] key pressing, if the maintenance code wasnt programmed during a previous programming session, then the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation
beeps and the control panel will go back within main programming menu.
2.

In order to programm maintenance code enter the above sequence from the keypad. The LED keypad will react as following:

2.1. After entering the first digit of a new sequence for maintenance code the zone 2 LED will be blinking. That means the control panel is waiting for second digit for
new value of the maintenance code.
2.2. After entering second digit of the maintenance code the zone 3 LED will be blinking. That means the control panel is waiting for third digit for new value of the
maintenance code and so on, until entering the last digit of the maintenance code (the forth for 4-digit codes and the sixth for 6-digit codes).
2.3. After any digit was pressed, programming of the maintenance code may be canceled by [#] key pressing. After cancellation by [#] key pressing, the keypad
buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps, the system will keep the old value for maintenance code and the control panel will go back within main programming menu.
Note: Do not enter [*] key while entering the digits of the maintenance code! The keypad buzzer will sound a long error beep and will reject [*] key.

3.

After entering the last digit of the maintenance code the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps and the panel will pass to the next step.

By [#] key pressing, RIGHTS1 set of the maintenance code can be maintained as it was previously established.
3.1 The rights of the maintenance code are displayable on 1 to 8 options; in order to turn the rights activate/deactivate, the installer should press the 1 to 8 keys
and the appropriate right will turn ON/OFF. For LED keypads, if a zone LED is ON, while the user code rights are displayed, means the appropriate right is enabled and if the zone
LED is OFF means the right is disabled.

5.2 Finally the installer should press [#] key to confirm the RIGHTS3 set of the maintenance code. After [#] key pressing the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps
and the control panel will go back within main programming menu.
6.

Entering of the [*] key (instead of sequence of 4 or 6 digits) can perform Erasure of maintenance code while the control panel just entered section [45]. After [*] key was
entered the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the control panel will go back within main programming menu.

Notes:
1.

The maintenance code has only the first 5 rights enabled by default and only installer can change them while he is within session of maintenance code programming (section [45]).

2.

In case of arming/stay arming/disarming/ambush by maintenance code, in order to generate the event codes for transmission to CS in 4x2 formats (4 account digits + 2 event
digits), the panel will automatic add the digit [0] to each specific event digit of arming/stay arming/disarming/ambush by user, defined in [52], [53], [54] and [57] sections.

3.

In case of arming/stay arming/disarming/ambush by maintenance code, if transmission to CS is done in CID format (4 account digits + 4 event digits + 3 zone/user digits), the
panel will automatic add another 3 digits of [0] after each specific 4-digit of arming/stay arming/disarming/ambush by user, defined in [63], [64], [65] and [68] sections.

4.

As a conclusion, the installers maintenance code will be identified at the central stations as user 0. So, these messages from central stations - arming/stay
arming/disarming/ambush by user 0 - should be redefined as arming/stay arming/disarming/ambush by installer.

Section [46]: Master Code Programming Performed by Installer

While the control panel is being within main programming menu, in order to program the master code select section [46] and then enter the
following sequence:
[x][x][x][x](or [x][x][x][x][x][x] for 6-digit codes)
and then assign the rights you what this code to have on the system, according to the following tables:

Master Code

1. MASTER USER CODE CHANGING MAY BE SKIPPED BY [#] KEY PRESSING.

After [#] key pressing the keypad buzzer will sound 3 confirmation beeps and the system will pass to display the first 5 rights of the master code (step no. 3, because
erasing of the master code is never allowed).
2. IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE MASTER USER CODE KEY IN THE FOLLOWING SEQUENCE FROM THE KEYPAD:
[x][x][x][x] for 4-digit codes (or [x][x][x][x][x][x] for 6-digit codes),
where

[x][x][x][x] and [x][x][x][x][x][x] are the new 4 or 6 digits for master code.

2.1. After entering the first digit of a new sequence for master code the zone 2 LED will be blinking. That means the control panel is waiting for second digit for new
value of the master code.
2.2. After entering second digit of the master code the zone 3 LED will be blinking. That means the control panel is waiting for third digit for new value of the master
code and so on, until entering the last digit of the master code (the forth for 4-digit codes and the sixth for 6-digit codes).
2.3. After any digit was pressed, master code programming may be canceled by [#] key pressing. After cancellation by [#] key pressing, the keypad buzzer will sound 6
confirmation beeps, the system will keep the old value for master code and the control panel will go back within main programming menu.
Note: Do not enter [*] key while entering the digits of the master code! The keypad buzzer will sound a long error beep and will reject [*] key.

In case of transmission to CS was set (in section [49]) to be done in CID format (4 account digits + 4 event digits + 3 zone/user digits), after the 4-digit group specific to each
reporting event the panel will transmit to CS another 3-digit group which stands for user/zone number identifying. In CID format:
-

Any action performed by the installer is identifying as user 000,

Any action occurred at a time is identifying as user 999 and

Any action performed by PC is identifying as user 255.

2.

By programming you can change only the last 2 digits of any 4 event digit group.

3.

If one CID code isnt to be reported, enter 2 digits of [0] for last 2 digits of the 4 event digits.

4.

If CID code is still to be reporting as [xx00], enter 2 digits of [A] for last 2 digits of the 4 event digits.

2.

In case in section [32] the alternate reporting was selected and if even after the 8 attempts for both CS phone numbers no central station answers, then the control panel will record a
CS1 and CS2 communication failed event into the 800-event LOG and a specific reporting code into the CS 80-event internal buffer, too. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the
communication with CS is established, the entire list from CS internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication reporting code, which is already
in the list, will be reported together to the CS. For CS1 and CS2 communication failed event, the panel will report to CS the 4-digit group which is established in this section, specific to
the Communication to CS failed event, after which the panel will add another 3 digits of [0], to identify at CS the CS1 and CS2 communication failed event as zone 000.

3.

In case in section [32] the split (or double) reporting was selected, the panel will report the events as follows:
-

Any event selected in section [33] to be reported to CS1 will be sent to the 1-st CS phone number, programmed in section [74]. If the control panel failed to transmit events to CS1 after
8 attempts (1-st CS phone number will not answer either after the 8-th call), then the control panel will record a CS1 communication failed event into the 800-event LOG and the specific
reporting code into the CS1 80-event internal buffer. In the same time, in case of split (or double) reporting, if an event of CS1 communication failed is occurring in the system, then
the specific reporting code will be recorded into the CS2 80-event internal buffer and will be transmitted to CS2, too. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the communication with
CS1 is established, the entire list from CS1 internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication reporting code, which is already in the list, will
be reported together to the CS1. For CS1 communication failed event, the panel will report to CS1 the 4-digit group which is established in this section, specific to the Communication
to CS failed event, after which the panel will add another 2 digits of [0] and 1 digit of [1] for zone, to identify at CS1 the CS1 communication failed event as zone 001.

Any event selected in section [33] to be reported to CS2 will be sent to the 2-nd CS phone number, programmed in section [75]. If the control panel failed to transmit events to CS2 after
8 attempts (2-nd CS phone number will not answer either after the 8-th call), then the control panel will record a CS2 communication failed event into the 800-event LOG and the specific
reporting code into the CS2 80-event internal buffer. In the same time, in case of split (or double) reporting, if an event of CS1 communication failed is occurring in the system, then
the specific reporting code will be recorded into the CS1 80-event internal buffer and will be transmitted to CS1, too. Upon a new reportable event occurring, if the communication with
CS2 is established, the entire list from CS2 internal buffer, the old reporting codes, the new reporting codes and the failed communication reporting code, which is already in the list, will
be reported together to the CS2. For CS2 communication failed event, the panel will report to CS2 the 4-digit group which is established in this section, specific to the Communication
to CS failed event, after which the panel will add another 2 digits of [0] and 1 digit of [2] for zone, to identify at CS2 the CS2 communication failed event as zone 002.

Section [74]: Phone Number of CS1

If the digital communicator is enabled by programming, this is the phone number that the control panel will dial first to transmit to the central
station the events occurred in the system.

Phone CS1
Unprogrammed

Enter the phone number in the same way it would be dialed on a touch-tone phone. The maximum number of digits is 15.
To confirm the phone number, press [#] key after the last digit of the phone number was entered.
After [#] key pressing, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section and will wait for a new command to enter another section or [#] key to exit
the main programming menu.
A 2-second pause can be added by entering HEX digit D between the digits of the phone number (enter HEX digit D by pressing [*] and [3] keys).
In order to erase the phone number, press [*] key, once the panel entered this section.
Example: You may want to introduce the phone number 6802054. The following sequence will be entered: |6||8||0||2||0||5||4||#|. After [#] key pressing, the keypad buzzer will sound 6
confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section and will wait for a new command to enter another section.
Notes:
1.

In case the reporting to CS is programmed in [32] section as alternate, for control panel to initiate CS reporting, at least one CS phone number must be programmed in [74]
or [75] sections. If 1-st CS phone number is programmed in this section, this is the phone number that the control panel will dial for first time in order to transmit to the central station
the events occurred in the system.

2.

In case the reporting to CS is programmed in [32] section as split (or double), for control panel to initiate CS1 reporting, this phone number must be programmed in this
section. Please note that if this phone number isnt programmed, the control panel will not initiate reporting to CS1 and will not record events into the CS1 80-event internal buffer
anymore, even there in section [33] are events selected to be reported to CS1.

3.

Any time when the control panel will dial this phone number, in order to identify itself to CS, the control panel will use the first panel account which was established in section [47] and will
transmit in the 1-st reporting format which was established in section [49].

Section [75]: Phone Number of CS2

If the digital communicator is enabled by programming, this is the phone number that the control panel will dial first to transmit to the central station the events occurred in the
system.
Enter the phone number in the same way it would be dialed on a touch-tone phone. The maximum number of digits is 15.

Notes:
1.

In case the reporting to CS is programmed in [32] section as alternate, for control panel to initiate CS reporting, at least one CS phone number must be programmed in [74] or [75]
sections. If 1-st CS phone number doesnt answer and if 2-nd CS phone number is programmed in this section, this is the phone number that the control panel will dial for
second time in order to transmit to the central station the events occurred in the system. If 1-st CS phone number isnt programmed in [74] and if 2-nd CS phone number is
programmed in this section, this is the phone number that the control panel will dial in order to transmit to the central station the events occurred in the system. In order to identify itself
to CS the control panel will use the first panel account which was established in section [47] and will transmit in the 1-st reporting format which was established in section [49].

2.

3.

If the digital communicator is enabled by programming, then:

-

In case the alternate reporting is selected in section [32], in order to transmit to the central station the events occurred in the system, this is the phone number that the control
panel will dial for second time, in case 1-st CS phone number doesnt answer.

In case the split (or double) reporting is selected in section [32], and then the panel will report to CS2 only after reporting to CS1 finished or failed. In order to identify itself to CS2 the
control panel will use the second panel account which was set in section [48] and will transmit in the 2-nd reporting format which was established in section [49]. Please note that if this
phone number isnt programmed, the control panel will not initiate reporting to CS2 and will not record events into the CS2 80-event internal buffer anymore, even there in section [33]
are events selected to be reported to CS2.
Phones numbers in sections [74] and [75] are not programmed by default.

Section [97]: Manual Activation of PC callback

Entering section [97] allows the installer to manually initiate the PC call to establish the communication between the control
panel and PC. Before entering this section the PC modem must be passed in the waiting status for control panel calls.

Call PC

Once the installer entered this section, the control panel will dial the PC phone number, programmed in section [93]; while the PC modem is called it will take the phone line over
and will start to communicate with the control panel. The control panel and PC will verify each over the passwords (the control panel and PC identification codes within
upload/download, programmed in sections [91] and [92]) and, if the passwords are correctly, the communication between the control panel and PC will be activated upon the control
panel initiating.
Notes:
1.

This function is identical with [*][8][Master Code][97][#] command, which is allowed to the master user, too.

For a successful initiating of the PC callback, the PC phone number needs to be programmed in section [93].

Section [98]: Manual Activation of Communication with PC (PC download acceptance)

This command allows the installer to manually trigger the communication between PC and panel. Before entering this
section the PC modem must be already on the phone line and call the control panel. While PC modem is calling the
control panel, just entering section [98] will manually activate the communication between PC and panel. . While PC modem is calling the control
panel, just entering section [98] will manually activate the communication between PC and panel.

Allow Download

Notes:
1.

This function is identical with [*][8][Master Code][98][#] command, which is allowed to the master user, too.

2.

Manually activation of communication with PC (PC download acceptance) is useful when the Panel answers to remote PC calls option in section [35] isnt enabled by programming and
system parameter programming from PC software is still required.

3.

This command is also useful in a local connection between the control panel and the PC modem (connection between the control panel and the PC modem without a phone line). In this
case, use the connection below:

58

Section [99]: Cancellation of any Phone Line Communication

[*][8][Installers programming code][99] Command allows to the installer to cut-off any phone communication when he is carrying out a test.
[*][8][Master Code][99][#] Command allows to the master user to stop the voice/sound reporting and communication between panel and PC,
without stopping communication to the central station.

APPENDIX A: C612 control panel response according to the zone wiring types
A.1. SINGLE ZONE INPUT TERMINAL CONNECTIONS
The system hardware recognizes the following single zone input terminal connections. For more information on programming the options mentioned in the following sections refer to
the zone definitions within 01 to 12 programming sections.
A.1.1. SINGLE ZONE with N.C. CONTACTS, without EOL RESISTOR, without TAMPER RECOGNITION
If your security installation does not require tamper or wire fault recognition, connect the detection devices as shown in the next figure and ensure the zone wiring
attributes are programmed as shown in the next table. This setup will communicate the violated zone to the control panel which will display it on the keypads. Do
not use devices with N.O. contacts in this zone setup, as this will cause the zone to remain in alarm.
