The following artifact is the copy of the sequence of lessons I created for my Methods II Intensive Study of Teaching Diverse Learners in Mathematics course. Following the curriculum created for us by professor gardella, I created lessons for the Counting Unit. In lesson four, students used their knowledge of the Fundamental Counting Principle to discover the concept of Permutations.

The following artifact is the copy of the sequence of lessons I created for my Methods II Intensive Study of Teaching Diverse Learners in Mathematics course. A group assignment given by Professor Gardella, I was tasked to write the lesson plans for the first four days in an Algebra II/Trigonometry course. Following the curriculum created for us by Professor Gardella, I created lessons for the Counting Unit. For lesson one, students used tree diagrams and manipulates to discover the Fundamental Counting Principle. In lesson two, students learned how to use the Fundamental Counting Principle given specific conditions with the aid of tree diagrams and manipulatives. In lesson three, students used their knowledge of the Fundamental Counting Principle to discover the concept of Permutations. Lesson four encompasses all of these ideas through the idea of station lab activities. As day one and day two utilized diagrams and manipulatives to meet the needs of all learners, day three also included provides a short video clip for student viewing. In day four, station labs had activities of varying complexity.
