The document discusses different types of infinitive complements that can follow verbs. It explains that verbs like persuade, want, and believe can take an infinitive complement with or without an object. Persuade verbs require an object, want verbs can be with or without an object, and believe verbs use the infinitive form of "be". It also discusses plan verbs which follow the pattern of verb + for + object + infinitive of be. Finally, it mentions verbs like have, let, and make follow the pattern of verb + object + base form of the verb rather than the full infinitive. Examples of each type of infinitive complement are provided.
